08.01.2022 A L L A B O U T M E Microchip No. 991 001 003 001 171 Let me introduce myself, my name is Hunter (or Boofhead) and I am 3 years old. Now, I know what you are all thinking...I don’t look much like a Labrador and you are probably wondering how I ended up with Lab Rescue! I’m safe now with them and that’s all that matters ... My foster family realised that my previous life wasn’t that good, because I get really scared when someone grabs me by the collar or raises their voice; I just fall in a big heap and start shaking. My foster Mum keeps telling me that everything will be alright now and I don’t need to be frightened anymore. I am a big boy but please don’t be put off by my size because I just love being your lap dog and couch cuddle-buddy. I will sit when asked to and take treats ever so gently, although sometimes I need a little reminding so I don’t snatch. I will sit for my dinner and and I will not steal anyone else’s food. I live with 2 other Labradors, a Blue Heeler and 2 cats. I love tother dogs, but my foster Mum is not impressed when I start chasing the cats. I can’t help it, it so much fun trying to catch them when they run. Ideally my new home should have a fur friend (I really like the girls) that loves to play with me, so that when the humans go out, I don’t stress too much. I sometimes get a little upset when I get left behind, so a secure yard is a must. If possible, I would love to be included in all your activities. I am a very good boy and come when you call me, however my foster Mum says that I still have a lot to learn, so if you can take me to dog training, that would be awesome. At night, I am a good boy and just curl up on my bed and don’t make a sound until the morning. I am also house trained. My tail hasn’t stopped wagging since I have come into foster care; who knew that life could be this good? Hunter is located northside of Brisbane and is available for adoption. He's been desexed, vaccinated and microchipped and is up to date with all worming and flea and tick treatments. This beautiful boy is available to the right family for a rehoming fee of $450.

Thank you to everyone who donated to her surgery, shared the post, and sent us well wishes for her recovery. We couldn't do this without you all!
