24.01.2022 I know it’s tough times, but it is times like this where it is especially important to be getting out there (or staying inside) and training. This saying still rings true. #outdoors #outdoortraining #laceemup #fitness #training

16.01.2022 Between a lady complaining to council about a banner, in the middle of a global pandemic and shutting us down for 2 weeks, and then 2 separate lockdowns, it’s been 6 months since I’ve been able to work at all. So glad to be back !! #malverneast #personaltraining #centralpark #centralparkmalvern #laceemup #fitness

15.01.2022 Today is Winter Solstice. The days are going to start getting longer and we are over the first big hurdle of Winter. Stay Focussed, keep looking forward and it will be warm and sunny before you know it !! There's no such thing as bad weather, just bad preparation. Start the session with layers on, rug up, and you'll end up in a tee shirt by the end of it. 14.01.2022 Huge shout out to this absolute legend Carolyn Hajal who completed the virtual Melbourne Marathon today. Finished in a time of 4:08 when there were times throughout her training when we didn’t know if she’d get to the start line. Between Injuries, Lockdowns, postponements and cancellation of the actual event in October, it’s been a tough mental game to get here. But she did it and also raised $14,000 for Muscular Dystrophy. #onetoughmumma #marathon #legend #musculardystrophy https://www.facebook.com/carolyn./videos/10158567496635211/?

12.01.2022 Not the right way to burn calories, but still pretty funny.

09.01.2022 An interesting little read. There’s more to it, but researchers wanted to find an everyday activity to accurately gauge heart health, and have come up with this. Researchers say if you can climb four flights of stairs (defined as 60 individual stairs) in under a minute, your heart and cardiovascular system are in great shape. Not sure where you stand when it comes to heart health? A new study just released by the European Society of Cardiology suggests testing yourself o...n the nearest staircase. Researchers say if you can climb four flights of stairs (defined as 60 individual stairs) in under a minute, your heart and cardiovascular system are in great shape. However, if four flights take longer than a minute and a half, it’s probably time to start thinking about some lifestyle changes. The stairs test is an easy way to check your heart health, says study author Dr. Jesús Peteiro, a cardiologist at University Hospital A Coruña in Spain, in a release. If it takes you more than one-and-a-half minutes to ascend four flights of stairs, your health is suboptimal, and it would be a good idea to consult a doctor. Obviously, there are more scientific and analytical ways of assessing an individual’s heart health, but all of those routes require the person to actually visit a medical office. See more

01.01.2022 I dont deal in resolutions as theyre too easy to break. If people say Im running 5km a day for 2020 and they miss their January 6th run, all too often they go Oh well, I tried, maybe next year. A goal can be achieved by not being perfect, by working towards it step by step. So, what are your 2020 goals?
