25.01.2022 Hello and welcome to my Weekly Roundup... Yesterday 3 white butterfly's saved my life.. I was almost half way across the pedestrian crossing at the Cronulla RSL when 3 white butterfly's crossed my path so I stopped.. just as a woman in a white SUV sped through the crossing... people screamed... she missed me by 6 inches.. so thankyou Mum Dad and my sister Monique in heaven you saved my life! Ok... speaking of bad drivers, did anyone notice that on Wed this week, all the ...crazy bad drivers came out to play? It was the worst day of dealing with bad driving in 2 years! I drove my lovely lady from St Vincents Heathcote, to St George Private Hospital and home twice for the week.. she had no cash but had a card I said you can pay by card she said " how do I do that?" I showed her my Eftpos machine, she had never seen one... so I explained the process she was extremely impressed On the way home she wanted McDonald's and asked if she could pay by card I said yep... and we did.. I think I have created a MONSTER I drove a young boy to Karate and when he got in the car he asked me if I knew anything about Apple Macs... I said " mate I do not even know what one looks like so no.. On Thursday Mabel and I drove to St George Private and Public Hospitals 4 times plus shopping, plus gym dropoffs, plus school pickups, plus doctor dropoffs, plus dropping off and picking up my Defacto dog Gus from Doggy Day Care. . it was probably the busiest day for a long time... It was my absolute honour to drive 2 beautiful older ladies to a Legacy Remembrance Day meeting they were so happy. .. I drove to Prince of Wales Hospital and looked after Gus the dog for 2 nights he was with me for State of Origin and put up with all the yelling Lastly I drove 2 young men to a gardening job early Sat morning..... what a week... I am alive, the week is over.. onwards and upwards..! See more

20.01.2022 Well hello and welcome to my Weekly Roundup Does anyone know what day it is? or what the date is today?... Firstly to the older Stop Go Woman on Karimbla Rd... smoking a cigarette... and talking on the phone... with your sign on GO instead of STOP! luckily I stopped otherwise their would have been a collisionno need for the language either This week I drove a lovely older lady to Chipping Norton for a Christmas party and then on Christmas Eve, to Petersham to celebrat...e with her sister.. I was running late for my appointment at THE HONEY POT GYMEA...thankyou so much for waiting for me as I was your last client.. so kind of you! I drove a client to Sutherland Hospital then to Miranda Fair, then to Southgate, then to Sutherland for flowers, wow what a day.. all Christmas presents bought All my usual pickups and dropoffs as well! I had a very different Christmas but enjoyable I hope you all did too! Lastly but definitely not least. .. I had to attend a funeral on Monday.. VALE KENNY.. 20.01.2022 Well hello and welcome to my Weekly Roundup This week was a doozy.... one day I was on the road for 12 and a half hours, with a half hour break.. 4 trips and back to St George Hospitals, a trip to Prince of Wales Hospital, an early Airport Run and my usuals! I could have drive to QLD! I am a positive person and always say hello to all... there was a stop go man in a quiet street... I gave him a shoutout and said" mate you are doing a great job!" he said " NO I'M NOT" ...... Ok.... Mabel and I dropped off some items to Botany for a client, drove a Greek Mother and daughter to Church, and as usual a lovely man to a nursing home to visit his wife. I drove a lovely lady to Chipping Norton for a beading class.. on my way back to the Shire I came across a roundabout.. with 2 young people standing in the middle of it, with their phones up to their faces... and they stepped off the middle.. I slammed on my brakes.. wound down my window and said" what are you doing?" he said" playing POKEMON GO" I said " mate you nearly became POKEMON MOW as in MOWED OVER"! My lovely lady from St Vincents Heathcote, had to go to St George Hospital for an appointment, it was running an hour and a half late so I needed to improvise... and so she came with me on a roadtrip around the Shire, pickups, droppoffs, young people, old people and she loved it! She did not want it to end.. we did a McDonald's run as I dropped her off.. and she tapped her card But the highlight of my week was today..it was my family Christmas Party... this year I have learnt that we are lucky to live in Australia. .. and Family is EVERYTHING Have a wonderful week... I can hear the yipees from here!! 18.01.2022 I know, I know I am late with my Weekly Roundup but for the 1st time in 2 years I had 3 xmas parties in 3 days.. and I was exhausted So this week I set a new record 10 trips to St George Hospital's! Many school pickups, shopping trips, Urunga Parade, Gibbs Street, Central Av, hairdressers, Miranda Fair and I drove one of my Oldest Clients to her Gardening Club Christmas Party at Wooloware Golf Club she was so grateful! . But the highlight of my week was Tues.. remember that huge storm? I had 2 children in my car for activities they were quite scared and asked me " are you ok? do you need to pull over?" I said " no I learnt to drive in the Army so I am fine" So one of them says " oh were you in the WAR?" I know I'm old but not that old! Until next week drive safely...

13.01.2022 Hi all and welcome to my Weekly Roundup I knew it would happen.. I waited for it to happen... and it happened... a young lady in active wear walking her dog.. glued to her phone..... smashed into a tree and fell to the ground! I stopped Mabel.. went to her aid the dog was licking her face.. luckily no harm done, girl ok, dog ok, phone ok, and tree ok.. I do not need to tell you the lesson here.. I had a new young man to drive home from band practice, he is quirky and l...oves Pokemon, so I called my quirky son and they discussed Pokemon all the way home! This week I counted... I drove up and down President Avenue a total of.... drum roll please....... 65 times Mabel and I drove to Sutherland Hospital, Gibbs St, a new client to the skin clinic, drama and karate classes, and my Bold and the Beautiful lover lady to her Podiatrist, she was extremely upset that Melbourne Cup had taken over B and B for most of the week! Did you know all new Volswagons only have 1 reversing light? I did not know that so told a young lady her reversing light was out she said " yep I know it only has one thanks though" I drove a hubby and his 6 month old home from a party his wife was staying at for her birthday what a lovely job.. I helped at the other end and took the baby inside as he carried the cot nappy bag, etc.. so lovely, great job Dad! But the highlight of my week was watering my clients garden..it has been such a long time... he left me a note.. " we love you and so does our garden" who would have thought!... Until next week... 11.01.2022 Well hello and welcome to my Weekly Roundup This week I have noticed how much more traffic there is on the road in the Shire I am sure that all Mum's and Dad's are feeling my pain... After 4 long weeks I was finally able to take my client home from Hospital, after his fall that I called the Ambulance for, he was so happy to go home to his wife and his dogs were too! Mabel and I drove a mum and 3 young children to the Airport, they are moving North.. Grandparents I feel ...your pain xxx I had a punnet of blueberries on my passenger seat.. munching them for a snack, when a dog jumped out in front of my car, yep a berry, berry, bad idea dog ok.. berries everywhere Garden Club has finally resumed and my beautiful elderly lady was so happy to be driven there and back.. I drove a lovely young lady home from school as her Mum was sick, and had 2 of my school run girls chatting to each other it was book week and my 1st grader dressed as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, I used Google on my Apple Play in front of the girls to ask when the original was made... 1939.. the girls were impressed with Google, so was I HOW GOOD IS TECHNOLOGY But the Highlight of my week was driving some wonderful people into Potts Point today for a 60th Birthday Celebration. ... 08.01.2022 Well hello and welcome to my Weekly Roundup Picture this.. Monday, it is pouring rain, I have to pick up a Mum, Dad and 6 month old and take them to the International Airport. Many many bags, prams, and other luggage and a crying baby.. we got to the Airport still pouring rain .. they got the luggage out and I held and rocked the baby.. it came back so naturally, and she stopped crying.. there was only one other young couple at the Terminal saying goodbye to each other hu...gging and crying their eyes out..and then I started crying.. holding the baby.. what a day I had to look after my Defacto Dog Gus all weekend.. we had a ball.. lots of walks and bacon from a cafe I was in the Cronulla Mall car park on Thursday when a P Plater was reverse parking in a HUGE 4 wheel drive with his mates in the car.... and executed it perfectly. . I parked, went over and said " mate that was amazing parking even with your mates in the car!" I think he was quite chuffed Mabel and I drove my special Dutch lady to the Dentist, and another special young lady to Concord. We drove one of my regular clients to her Podiatrist and when we arrived she then informed me that they had moved sorry! No problem it was still in Sutherland! This week I had a new client who is almost blind.. she was telling me reading is what she misses the most.. she then proceeded to tell me that the Sutherland Library have Audio Books that they deliver and give for free which ever genre you like! I did not know that, and I thought you all might like that information, it really has made her life so much better Well that's it for this week.. drive safely and take care x See more

08.01.2022 Well hello and welcome to my Weekly Roundup This week I drove my 86 year old Indian lady to Gibbs St.. she told me she needs to spend less time on her I Pad and more time exercising! 86! A lovely older lady's walker broke down and needed to be fixed, a big THANKYOU to B SMART LIVING CARINGBAH for not only fixing it but giving her a replacement for the day! I got a carpark in Gymea, wow felt like I had won the lottery I drove a lovely mum and her 2 children to the Air...port at 4.40am, everytime the lovely little 16 month old girl saw Christmas lights she would yell "CHRISTMAS! " it was hilarious what was not hilarious was a huntsman spider.. on the window... as we were crossing Tarren Point Bridge! luckily it was on the outside! I drove a lady to Hurstville for a Christmas party, picked up a mum and her baby from a Christmas party, drove a lady to the station after coming down on the train from Nelson Bay to watch her Granddaughters dance concert, and drove a lovely old lady to her Christmas Party at the St George Motor Boat Club and return.. What a difference a week makes... we are all so unsure of what is going to happen this week me included, we just need to stick together and make the most of what we have. 03.01.2022 Well hello and welcome to my Weekly Roundup. So Ladies who has seen the bus driving around the Shire with the Magic Mike add on the back? You know.. the one with a man in jeans... no shirt... 6 pack? IT.IS.DISTRACTING! This week I had to pick up a family with a 3 month old from the Airport at 9.15pm on Wed, as usual I tracked the flight and... it did not come in till 10.45pm the family were extremely happy to see me... I drove an older lady to her Gardening Club meeti...ng she was so happy! Celine has purchased LRE Lower North Shore and so on Thus came on a "day in the life of LRE" with me we drove a lady to the station, took my special Dutch lady shopping, drove to the Airport to pick up a lady and 2 children and took them back to the Shire, and picked up the fruit for One Meal Sutherland. I then let her go home, and proceeded to deliverer goods for B SMART LIVING CARINGBAH to Kingsgrove, a trip to the Sutherland Hospital, and 2 school dropoffs... One of my students that I take to Karate Classes said to me" when are you going to retire?" I said.. " well.. 75?" Friday afternoon was horrible on the Shire roads. I started my pickups at 2.45pm from Sutherland to Menai, then Bangor to Miranda, then Menai to Cronulla, then Miranda back to Bangor and lastly Oyster Bay to Kirrawee it took 3 and a half hours! I could have been in Ulladulla, Bathurst, or way past Newcastle by then!.. the traffic in the Shire is getting worse! Luckily I am a very patient Lady. Until next week.. See more

01.01.2022 Well hello and welcome to my Weekly Roundup This week has brought with it many lovely surprizes! I drove one of my clients to St George Private Hospital and while we were waiting.. a lady walked out of the clinic, we looked at each other and... we knew each other 35 years ago she was my first client in my Gym at Campbelltown! Wow... I drove a client to Manly for 3 hours, so I stayed and went to visit my sister's Memorial Bench where 1 lovely butterfly kept me company.. an...d in the Cafe my Dad's favorite song came on... WOW.. the only bad part.. it took 2 and a half hours to drive back to the Shire! I had Gus my Defacto dog for 1 night.. he started barking loudly in my bedroom when I realized he did not like my Pink Flamingo quilt cover! so I put a blanket on it and he was fine! I delivered a set of crutches for B SMART LIVING CARINGBAH into the middle of the city, and a new client to a Weight Watchers meeting in Miranda. Mabel and I drove to Sutherland Hospital, nursing homes, shopping, and school dropoffs and pickups, but the highlight of my week was driving at the speedlimit of 80km when a big van was tailgating beeping and flashing his lights at me I moved over, he sped off, only to be pulled over by the Police....
