25.01.2022 Today our little friends enjoyed time outside in the warm sunshine where we played ball games did lots of running and climbing and building. We also sat and read stories together Clayton really enjoyed investigating the books during outdoor play. Whilst indoors the children enjoyed using the corks to paint clouds and rainbows. Hannah asked to have the ice-cream game out where she needed to balance her scoops of ice-cream as high as she could before they fell down. Piper enjoyed working on her colour and fruit classification activity and being the shop keeper. Ari loved the guns outside and also spent a lot of time working on his ball catching and kicking.

A lot of construction and building went on in the block corner mostly with our town planner Piper building and our demolition man Clayton knocking it down some role play in home corner and hiding in the streamers with Clayton, and we got some time to eat aswell. See you all tomorrow xxx
20.01.2022 Today we celebrated Jordan's birthday! Everyone loved the cupcakes that he brought in, thank you! We played dress ups, craft with shapes, car racing and lots more! We forgot to take photos today because we were having so much fun but here's a few pics Happy Tuesday!
19.01.2022 Our Tuesday post will come in 3 posts today, so much learning and investigation with our little group where we had JCB change to Tuesday’s to hang with the Emu crew and he loved it so did Ari having another big boy to play and learn with. We enjoyed learning about and investigating magnetic force with our trains and magnetic fishing, we enjoyed different small world play, collage using recycled loose parts and building and construction. Our Babushka dolls were a great success which allowed for us to discuss size differentiation small to largest, also cause and effect motion and movement with our car and ball roller coasters.
19.01.2022 Our morning started with checking on the babies, where Clayton decided to microwave his baby much to Piper’s disgust she yelled out oh no he’s burning the baby after which he turned up the temperature and laughed typical Clayton xxxx. We also enjoyed some wax resist painting Piper loved my magic the sun, earth and moon were again very popular with our twins.....Piper is so interested in the burning hot sun and Clayton can identify the planet earth. Piper constructed with the recycled loose parts where she experimented with height, length and dimension. We had some cucumber dip with morning tea and both Clayton and Piper really enjoyed it.
16.01.2022 Sorry for the late post my internet has been so slow but here we are better late than never....anotger day of Naidoc inspired learning experiences to encourage and acceptance of culture within our community. JCB brought his remote control shark in and showed us it works, his peers loved it we had a great morning of learning and exploration.
15.01.2022 Sorry for the late post lovely families I’ve had a busier week than normal but here is my catch up...... we had some new friends at Pre-School this week with my lovely babies Jaxx and Zahla. They had a great time and it was an interesting day having two sets of twins and they are so different. We made caterpillars, painted, dressed up, coloured and investigated books about caterpillars and butterfly’s, role-played in home corner and enjoyed time being creative on the light table. We also created little hot houses for the bean seeds we are trying to germinate within a clear lunch bag, we stuck them to window so we can watch their growth and changes as we are focusing on ‘change and growth’ and ‘where does our food come from’ and we will next week move onto the different steps in developing different foods.
14.01.2022 Piper and Clayton enjoyed everything today especially the butterfly collage where they gave their butterflies many eyes, next week we will be focusing on geometric shapes as Piper and Clayton have shown a lot of interest in shapes so we will work with their interests.
12.01.2022 This week's set up
12.01.2022 Today we investigated space and Piper was especially interested in the moon, we looked at volcanic rock because it’s the texture and colour of the moon. Piper enjoyed looking through the books and finding the moon and placing the rocks onto the pictures and said look the same. Clayton and Piper also enjoyed learning to put nappies on their babies and we’re very proud of their achievements. The light table with our stars and coloured discs were also a success where Piper mad...e a caterpillar and used stars as its eye. At the gluing table we looked at different textures and also dull and shiny. Clayton helped me to set up the car and also the train tracks. They both enjoyed using the stubby brushes to paint, where they mixed colours and we were able to also discuss the new colours they had made.....have a great night everyone and I will see you all tomorrow xxx See more
12.01.2022 Just a little snippet of our hump day, we enjoyed a variety of building and fine-motor activities where we worked together and alone and had the opportunity to discuss personal space and using our words not our actions we investigated the lifecycle of the butterfly and looked at cocoons using the magnifying glass. We practiced our tracing skills as we traced our apple that the caterpillar had eaten through. We will be reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar during our caterpill...ar and butterfly investigations. We are also investigating where our food comes from and how it grows or is made, to assist in our learning we will be reading the big book Where does our food come from the children enjoyed the pictures as they depict photos and the children could relate easily to them. Piper said my mummy milks the cows and this gave us the opportunity to discuss dairy products and how they are made. See more
12.01.2022 Terrific Tuesday.....we all enjoyed time at home corner feeding and changing our babies or pretending to be babies. Cutting and sticking was a great success with all of my friends practicing their grasp and cutting skills. Ari spent time counting with me and killed it at the numeral and symbol puzzle while Piper built with the rainbows, Ari also did some amazing balancing with the rainbow arches. We all worked on our nappy change skills and all enjoyed some painting aswell.

08.01.2022 So outside today being Monday 12th Aug we did some planting to follow on with our focus on ‘where does our food come from and how do things grow and change’. Piper and Zahla both enjoyed helping me prepare for, planting and watering the seeds we planted. We planted strawberries, spinach, parsley and some sunflowers, the boys got involved with the watering....where we recycled the water from water play to water in the seeds. 07.01.2022 Our morning started with some play dough cutting and discussing shapes, Piper made a birthday cake and used the roller as a candle, so to scaffold her learning I provided her with some birthday candles. She arranged the candles and started singing ‘happy birthday‘ Clayton was also given some candles and he went about arranging them in his dough (Clayton will very often watch and imitate Pipers actions/activities etc). Butterfly prints and shape collage were enjoyed by Piper a...nd Clayton and later on by Ari when he arrived. We worked on our cutting and snipping and I worked on grasp and technique with my little friends, Ari was very excited when he found mr crab at the food table and sat and pointed out on the seafood puzzle all of the sea life he could see at the table. During outdoor play we enjoyed time playing with the parachute, climbing and checking the growth of our seeds. We also created a new LEGO house during our afternoon free play......have a wonderful Wednesday evening and I will see you all next week xxxx See more

Please take the time to look at the window next to the fish tank to see our bean seeds that we are watching grow, the children have been very excited each day to check their progress.
04.01.2022 We are moving away from our focus on space and the solar system and are now focusing on change and growth in animals and our natural world and also where does our food come from. We will be investigating these topics this week and into next week where we will start some new gardens in our outdoor environment and also attempt to grow some beans in clear lunch bags so the children can watch the way things can change and how they grow and what they look like at different stages of growth.
03.01.2022 With all the wet weather and Jordan pretending to be a pirate I decided to let the children have a treasure hunt, Zahla and I hid the treasure and our little friends searched high and low and we’re very excited when they found their treasure....
