Compassion is a beautiful thing and we thank you for exercising compassion as this disaster is having impact on many of us, but our wonderful team continue to do their best to create a safe haven for your children. While we have operated on a ‘skeleton staff’ across Monday and today (Tuesday) I would like to reiterate at ALL times our ratios have been more than sufficie...nt to meet minimum requirements, we have however had staff and management working longer hours, taking shorter breaks and foregoing ‘non contact time’ to ensure quality care and education is provided at ALL times. As an owner operated centre - owned by an Early Childhood Teacher with post graduate qualifications and more than 20 years experience, I want to assure you that integrity, professionalism mixed with kindness will ALWAYS be my highest priority. 12.01.2022 Calling all earth angels to take a moment to go out on a limb... if you 'sense' something isn't right, someone seems down, you just may change their destiny for the better... I'll never forget the difference a lovely lady made on our son's angelversary 2 years ago. I sat at the lighthouse weeping behind my sunglasses and felt incredibly alone with my grief. A beautiful earth angel came and sat beside me with her hand on my shoulder and wanted to know all about him, I wish I ...knew her name so I could thank her.. while grief comes in waves, I can honestly say that after this random act of kindness, I left the lighthouse that afternoon feeling lighter and grateful. 2020 has been a challenging year and never has it been more important to reach out and offer support, especially when many of us are missing hugs...
