24.01.2022 Camping Update: Camping spots will reopen from 01.03.2021. Exciting news that camping will reopen from Monday. Please take note of the following camping requirements when staying in the park. ... Maximum of 10 people per a site this includes children. One caravan will be permitted on each site. Each powered camping site is allocated one 15amp for power supply. All cars and boats must fit on the camping site or be parked in the designated parking areas. Fees: $40 a night which includes 2 adults $15 a night for each additional adult $10 a night for children from 5 to 18 years of age Under 5 free All state government COVID regulations apply including using the QR code on arrival and departure. 23.01.2022 COVID Update The caravan park will be closed from 11:59pm tonight Friday 12th February. This includes to people arriving before 11:59pm tonight. Unfortunately due to Daniel Andrews announcement today confirming all of Victoria will commence stage 4 restrictions from 11:59pm tonight, vic parks have advised that all caravan parks are to remain closed until midnight Wednesday 17th February. ... We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused and ask any annuals who are currently staying at the park to return home before midnight tonight. Let’s all hope this five day lockdown serves it purpose in containing this latest outbreak and that we all can enjoy the park from Thursday of next week. 23.01.2022 Re-Opening of the Park Hi All, You may have heard the government has reactivated some Covid-19 restrictions previously relaxed. This does not change our decision to reopen the park from Thurs 25th June, however there are some additional requirements. Please note, if requirements are not adhered to at all times the CoM will reconsider closing the park immediately. ... 1. No more than 5 people allowed in your cabin/van outside of the people that live in your household. 2. Outside gatherings are to be no more than 10 people (including kids) and all people must adhere to the social distancing guidelines of 1.5m. 3. Declaration forms must be completed prior to arrival or on arrival. If filled out prior you must also advise caretakers upon arrival. It’s a government requirement to have an active list of people in the park at all times. We please ask that you do your bit and abide by the rules and regulations set by the government. 19.01.2022 COVID -19 Update It is with a heavy heart the CoM has made the decision tonight to postpone reopening the park. This decision has been made to manage the risk of Covid-19 spread. Two thirds of park annuals reside in local government areas that are currently Covid-19 hotspots. For the time being the park will remain closed.... This decision will be reviewed in two weeks time.

18.01.2022 To All, COVID-19 Update Following the recent announcements regarding the ease of restrictions the CoM have decided that the park will not be reopening at this stage and will remain closed until further notice. ... The ease of restrictions has still meant that we can not reopen all our communal facilities creating limitations and complicated procedures/process that if not followed correctly could potential create large fines for the park as well as putting peoples health at risk. There is light at the end of the tunnel and again the CoM thank you for your patience and understanding through this testing time. Private gatherings ie visitors to a home (van or cabin) are limited to five people per a day from any number of households. Public gatherings are limited to 20 people outdoors. 07.01.2022 To All, COVID-19 Update Firstly the CoM would like to thank you all for your understanding and patience through this testing time. ... Next week restrictions will be eased further regarding communal areas. As a result I am please to announce the park will reopen Thurs 25th June. The reopening of the park does come with some non negotiable requirements that must be adhered to at all times. Noting these are not requirements that have been decided or put in place by the CoM or our caretakers, these are Federal Government requirements for people attending all caravan parks. Declaration Forms: On arrival, all persons (including children) must complete a declaration form. This is not negotiable. Handing in a declaration the following day is not acceptable. This also includes day trippers. Primary/preferred option: It is acceptable to email a copy of your declaration to the caretakers 24hrs prior to arrival, so long as you notify the caretakers upon your arrival by call or txt. Please contact the caretakers for a copy of the declaration form. Social Distancing: Social distancing requirements of 1.5m of people not staying with you with in your caravan/cabin. Person Hygiene: * wash your hands often with soap and water. This includes before and after eating and after going to the toilet * use alcohol-based hand sanitisers when you can’t use soap and water * avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth * clean and disinfect objects you use often such as mobile phones, keys, wallets and work passes * use tap and go instead of cash where possible To ensure the safety of all attending the park our caretakers are required to undertake specific cleaning requirements of all communal areas. Please be understanding and mindful that this will occur a number of times throughout each day. We again ask for your patience and understanding. 04.01.2022 Playground announcement: We have been fortunate enough to receive financial assistance from the Kerang Lakes Community Group (huge thank you for your generosity) due to a successful grant focused on improving the foreshore. As a committee we agreed too match the monies to establish an significant upgrade of the current playground on the foreshore. Below are the final plans. The site cut occurred last weekend and we are on track to have the playground installed and landscaping completed by end of Oct. Please note, we have a grant application in progress to improve the toilet and shower facilities.
