I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name" (Rev. 3:8 NIV) These are the words Jesus sent to the Church in Philadelphia. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen. (1 Pet : 4:8-11 NIV). We celebrate our Volunteers this Sunday. What a privilege it is to be part of a loving team who faithfully and tirelessly serve our God and Church.

For a full description and application please contact Emily via [email protected] -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Position Status Part time : 7 hours per week Rationale 1church Inc. is a dynamic church environment that incorporates two campuses (Mandurah Baptist Church (MBC) and Lakelands Community Church (LCC) located in the Mandurah region. Our Lakelands campus enthusiastically conduct church and community ministries and are strongly focused on pastoral care, biblical teaching, discipleship, evangelism and community support. We are also committed to actively support our friends at Mandurah Baptist College, and have begun to create strong connections in the Lakelands community. The Lakelands campus’s Children’s Ministry Coordinator (CMC) will be working to coordinate Children’s Ministry (Higher Voltage) in an energetic, vibrant and loving environment supported by robust, enthusiastic and friendly leaders, within a warm and welcoming church family. We support the notion of enjoying ministry while serving our great God. We promote a caring, learning and growing atmosphere, with the keen sense of lovingly and considerately taking everyone in our LCC family on our mission journey.

15.01.2022 ALIVE AND LIVING WELL (Rev. 3 : 7-8a) Jesus said to the Church in Philadelphia These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What He opens no one can shut, and what He shuts no one can open. I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. (NIV).... The authority of Jesus is absolute and no force in heaven, earth or in any other physical or spiritual realm can thwart that authority. The King has keys to everything. He is able to open and close every door in the Kingdom. In the old days a king would have all the keys in the kingdom to every door. Some doors were known to everyone but there were also secret places unknown to others where either arms, treasure, written works or other secret things were hidden. These were places known only to the king. Once such place would also be the secret escape route out of the castle, should there be a sign that the castle is in danger and maybe overrun by enemies. And the king will have the key to the door of this escape route too. This is more so with Jesus. He has the keys to ALL the doors, even secret doors. He has the key to the door of salvation, the door of blessings, the door of safety, the door of anointing, the door of marriage, the door of health, etc., and even the secret doors in Heaven, which contain ancient mysteries and hidden secrets. So we come to Him in prayer, let us be confident that Jesus is able to open and shut any door, and if you want a door opened or shut, be confident in faith that Jesus, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, has the key to that door. He even has the key to the door of Heaven! The idea of having the keys to all the doors gives Him total access and total authority over the places those doors open. He can allow us in to what is on the other side of a door or deny us entry to it. However, to those who know Him, we know that He is good, kind, perfect and pure and He wants us to have access to all the doors that He has the keys to, except when it is for our own good and against the will of our Father. What a wonderful thought !! You have a door that needs opening? Or perhaps a door that needs to be shut? Let us come in prayer and in petition for all our needs, fears, concerns and anxieties, and ask humbly that He opens the doors that we need to have opened or shut the door that we want to be shut. And when in prayer let Him search and know our thoughts, hearts and deeds, so that He opens the necessary doors, and we know that the doors He opens, no one can shut, especially the door to Heaven. Prayer and a personal relationship with Jesus opens all sorts of wonderful doors for us and is the key to being Alive and Living Well. Be Blessed.
