03.01.2022 Lakeridge has been awarded Sothys Business Achievement award for 2019/2020. . Over Covid we were closed for eight weeks and at first, went into panic mode not knowing when we were allowed to re-open. It became very stressful. We were very lucky in that we had lots of support from our accountants and also our landlord so the stress was lightened once we knew there would be government assistance and rent relief.... The girls used the forced shutdown period to create a new operating system for clients to book and buy online. COVID has had some positives in that we now can offer our clients booking and buying online which is much more convenient for those that have busy lifestyles or need to book or buy after hours. After eight weeks, Lakerige reopened COVID compliant and have been busier than ever. We have been established in Cooroy for over 15 years and we have a very dedicated client base who were very supportive and with the expansion. We have also had a lot of new clients. Lakeridge is growing stronger and this is a great outcome as we are keeping people employed and that is what we need as small business, community support. On achieving the award, we would like to thank our staff for their ongoing professionalism, always offering exceptional service and dedication to our clients’ concerns.
