Our RAP program is a continuation of our drive to engage with, and make meaningful contributions to reconciliation and greater equality and understanding of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander cultures.... - They also do a lot of work with North Queensland community groups, sporting clubs, schools and councils, to ensure we are engaging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. They employ multiple apprentices and school-aged traineeships under our RAP program, and have existing relationships with Traditional Land Owners and Elders for cultural guidance. They run school programs for work experience, and will often seek out and partner with organisation's that have similar indigenous engagement objectives of their own, including subcontractors. Contacts given to us by our Traditional Land Owner and Supply Nation advisors are given greater consideration when awarding contracts or requesting suppliers or products. - [About The Painting] - The centrepiece of the painting represents the logo created by Ausco Modular as part of their Reconciliation Action Plan and the reaching out to connect with community on the journey of reconciliation. This is further seen through the connection of the yellow and green circles of community incorporated with the logo to embrace the joining of Ausco with community.
