What a great year it has been for all our female teams in 2019 and we are once again proud to be offering the full pathway at Club land with U13, U15, U18 & Senior Women’s Teams for 2020! To cap our great club season off for 2019, including a Premiership for our U18 Youth Girls Team, it’s been very exciting to have players also make it at representative level such as AFL Academy, Interleague, GWV Rebe...ls and up a level again at VWFL and of course to have Sophie Molan realise her footy dreams to be drafted to Richmond AFLW along with 2 other GWV Rebels Girls, Ella Woods & Nekaela Butler!! We are doing some forward planning for our 2020 teams, if you are able to tell us now if you will be returning to play or volunteer for Lakers next year that would be great, or if you’d like to join us as a new member, you will more than welcome too! Don’t stress if you don’t know yet, there is still time. Current players will receive priority places, with team selection to be confirmed after trials in 2020 depending on numbers.
