20.01.2022 Good to meet the local Water-Police today who were auditing working tour boats (Lakes-Explorer and Peels: Sea-bird) to ensure they are Covid-19 safe. All good! There has been confusion in the commercial tour boat industry about the carrying capacity to be Covid-19 safe..... There is now a formula to calculate vessel carrying capacity. On a tour boat, it is also very important that each passenger group (single traveller, couple or family) are 1.5m apart and 1.5m from the Skip...per/Deckhand when driving and mooring. Lakes-Explorer only carry one family/couple on each trip and undertake sanitising clean between trips.
