21.01.2022 Part 1 of natural Easter egg dyeing experiment! Going to try with kale and cayenne pepper next. The most impressive color is the blue from the red cabbage! But I think the colors are brighter if you use white eggs, not brown!

19.01.2022 I think I can officially use #mumpreneur with these two in tow! La Latina has become [even more] of a creative outlet for me, a passion project and....with full time Mum-ing - a side hustle. But ironically, things haven't slowed down at all, rather they've ramped up!... As I've heard @denisedt mentions: "Babies bring abundance." Maybe it's the romanticized 'creative Mother energy', or the fact that we have to hustle twice as hard because we have half the time! No doubt there'll be more ups and downs on this working mother journey. I experienced the downs during both pregnancies which literally floored me, and the first two years of motherhood saw me fatigued and lacking in self- confidence! I'm sure many Mums can relate to this upon returning to "work". With my second babe, something shifted and I decided to grab the toro by the horns and get back out there. Everything takes time. Everything HAS its time. Life isn't always a straight path. Nor would it be interesting that way. Our down times allow us to take stock, be present and figure out what's really important. To return with a new perspective and see things again for the first time.
