14.01.2022 When farmers choose an appropriate food source to grow out their lambs, they usually pick between Lucerne, Brassicas, Grass or Clover. Did you know Clover comes from the same family as peas and beans!? As a legume, it is super high in energy and protein which provides valuable nourishment for lambs. Not only that, but they looove the taste! Most species of Clover are good nitrogen-fixers due to certain types of bacteria on their roots which helps it enrich the soils of our Tasmanian farms. What a plant!!

12.01.2022 Last night we attended the RASV Australian Food Awards in Melbourne. After winning Best in Class for our Lamb early last month, we went in the running to win Champion Australian Meat 2019. Not only did we successfully win this title, but also came away with CHAMPION AUSTRALIAN PRODUCT 2019. In a competition this size with over a 1,000 other entrants, we are so thankful to have been able to come away with this win. Congratulations to everyone involved in last nights presenta...tions. To all other fantastic entries, chefs, judges, sponsors and to RASV for putting together such a wonderful event, we thank you. A very special mention to our dedicated farmers, whos love and care for their livestock shows through in every piece of meat we produce.
