22.01.2022 It’s been a while since I posted on the gram! In May, my family & I were due to head on the trip of a lifetime road tripping through the NT! Like every single person on earth, our plans & Lamel were put on hold. I was naive, I didn’t expect COVID to last this long to be honest. In March, I honestly thought by August we’d be back to normal and we all would have gotten past this. I was wrong. COVID continues to delay and postpone weddings for my poor couples, my heart is hur...ting for you all. I know how much goes into a wedding day, postponing once was awful, some now are doing it for a second time & that’s just heartbreaking. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. In the midst of all of that, no weddings gave us an opportunity to take our trip. We couldn’t make it to the NT after they banned NSW so our plan b was tropical North Queensland. This is where we’ve been for the last 4 weeks. It was needed. Time out was needed. Back to basics and family was needed. Thanks so much for hanging in there for relies while we’re away! 18.01.2022 MOTIVATION, LAMEL & COVID. Thanks for taking the few minutes out to view my story if you’ve had a chance. It is a quick way for my to explain some personal struggles I’ve been going through with regards to COVID and what strains that has put on myself and my business emotionally and my ability to stay motivated in a ‘world’ for me that isn’t currently inclusive of the potion of my job I’m most passionate about. The Making Things Beautiful part. I have really struggled the l...ast month to motivate myself to complete my weekday side of my job being the admin side day in and out without balancing it out with the amazingly create and fun side of things. This is me checking in to say, I recognise the areas I need to step up with and I’ve given myself a kick up the bum to get on top of it. Please keep checking in on each other, especially my industry friends and colleagues, we’ve all going through such a weird place that I for one didn’t think we’d be in! Love to all, Mel xx

03.01.2022 School is back! Woo hoo! I actually quite enjoy having our girls at home now they’re a little older, however it does still make it difficult having a home office when they are off school as this clashes with our office hours. Today & tomorrow I’ll be catching up on all our emails & enquires & touching base while the girls are at school. We are taking our delayed annual leave from 24th July - 26th August this year (just another thing COVID delayed) and may be out of coverage for portions but will continue to check in on emails and reply to any urgent ones.
