12.01.2022 Wow. #frasergallop Parterre Chardonnay 2019 is better than the 2018 vintage that was London's 17000 wine Decanter World Wine Award's Best Chardonnay Trophy winn...er - that Clive Otto also made for Fraser Gallop. He reckons the best so far for the long haul ... while I reckon the best under this label to date whether for the long haul or right now. .... Clearly! Will live for 20 years. Pure, intense, long, high but not aggressive racy acidity enveloped by Clive's potentially best oak selection and usage to date. Flesh from the MR clones. Creamy texturing is just another bonus. Serious length and made more approachable by a touch of the region's hallmark viscosity. Cellar door is about $50 now. Far too cheap for a top Margs chardy of this quality. See more

Compared The Caley with the remaining 20% of another bottle, opene...d under Coravin 3 months prior. The Results. The Caley. Full, round, textured, seamless, ripe but restrained and of enormous length. Wonderful drinking already . Stood out in a top masked line up. Satisfaction. And yes, a great wine. 19 points. The second bottle also poured masked and also lost in the line up .? Wow. Even better. Yep. The Caley and Coravin both work for me. See more
