09.01.2022 PLEASE READ !! To our valued customers and local community, as you know, the coronavirus (COVID-19) has created a lot of disorder and uncertainty in everyone’s lives. Despite these disturbing times, we want to reassure you that we’re here for you and will continue to provide you with fresh fruit and vegetables in a hygienic space. We have put certain measures into place including; encouraging social distancing, constant cleaning of store surfaces including cashier counters an...d trolleys. Over the past weeks we have seen a spike in prices on our vegetable lines. The inflation in prices is a direct result of panic buying. Our industry, like others, relies heavily on the supply and demand principle. When customers, and members of the community are buying in bulk & outside their normal buying behaviour, not just in our store, but nationwide, this unfortunately leads to a national shortage. When produce is low, prices rise. We buy daily from the Sydney Markets and our prices have, and will always reflect what the price is on the market floor. We always want to remain fair to all our customers and members of our community. Looking forward, prices seem to have stabilised this week and this is definitely evident in store. We hope the panic buying has eased and prices remain stable and products are easily accessible so no one in our community misses out. We thank you for your patronage, and wish you and your family much health over the next few months.
