20.01.2022 #Repost @lcjru with @make_repost 3 weeks to go until our @rugbyappeal LCJRU Skills Academy kicks off! Make sure you register and sign up for the Skills Academy to prepare for the season! Check our registration page for details - link in bio... For the 2021 rugby season, we have teamed up with @rugbyappeal to offer the LCJRU Skills Academy. This is a fantastic 10 week program run by professional coach Nick McCamley and his coaching team. It will be available as a 4 week pre-season program or a 10 week pre and in season program. The Skills Academy will run on Friday afternoons at Tantallon Oval starting on 5th March - 4:30pm to 5:30pm for Minis (Under 5 - 9s) and 5:30pm to 7pm for Juniors (Under 10 - 16s). The Skills Academy will allow players to train and get to know other players outside their own age group and it will give players the skills and confidence to be ready to go for the start the season on the first weekend in May.

It will allow us to come together on Friday evenings as a club, have a BBQ and bar running and if there's a Friday night game scheduled, stay and support the team playing in what will be a really fun gathering for our club. More information on how to register for the Skills Academy and register for the 2021 rugby season will be available in coming weeks!
