25.01.2022 IMPORTANT NOTICE It is with great disappointment that we announce the cancellation of the 2020 Annual Lang Lang Rodeo, scheduled to be held Easter Monday April ...13th, due to a Government mandated ban on gatherings of more than 500 people. Our Rodeo is one of the longest, continuously running rodeos in Australia, having run since 1944 and as such we are loathe to cancel our iconic event but we must also consider the health of our competitors, volunteers and patrons. Our hope is to run a rodeo later in the year if conditions allow. We thank all our stake holders and we also aim to run again in 2021 bigger and better than ever on Easter Monday. See more

17.01.2022 It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of our past Secretary and Treasurer Rosa Stewart. Rosa was the backbone of our organisation for many years, she retired her job as Treasurer about 10 years ago but was still available for her wise advice until the time she went into care just over a year ago. Rosa will be missed by us all. We send our sincere condolences to her family. RIP Rosa. 14/10/1928 - 13/05/2020

06.01.2022 This is from the Omeo Rodeo Committee but it applies equally to Lang Lang Rodeo. This is the first time in 77 years that we haven't planned a rodeo, it has been cancelled twice due to weather but this is a very sad day for us all.
