25.01.2022 Emma's lesson today. She is getting more confident with every ride.

24.01.2022 Our project for the last couple of days was to upgrade our barrel jump. Jessica did a great job painting them and now they have keyhole strips. Really happy with the finished job.

24.01.2022 Lovely day today for show prep. The team are heading to the Hoofbeats spring show tomorrow, looking forward to a great day.

24.01.2022 Had a lovely day yesterday with Langara Park and Tara Glen riders and helpers. Super proud of all the girls, they rode beautifully. Our super Taffy was a star again looking after Emma all day, it was wonderful to see and hear her joy as she came out of her in-hand class having led him around without mummy's help and in achieving champion topsy. They also won the show jumping fancy dress as a Prince and Princess. Ayla's Sunny behaved beautifully in her first outing, Ayla rode her very well and they were a lovely partnership. Jessica's mount's both challenged her at times, Dreamy who fought her throughout the hacking classes and France who was a bit anxious at the start and was a bit of a handful during warm up, but they both got it together for their jumping rounds.

23.01.2022 Picked up these two beautiful boys today, Sheldon a Welsh B and Burger a Riding pony. Jess and I can't wait to start working with them.

23.01.2022 This is what my awesome kids, with help from Mark, made me for mother's day. A lovely tribute to some of the special horses in my life, with pictures of my two special four legged boys Monty and Brandy, shoes from Dude and Brandy and rosettes that I won with my first little pony (a shetland x Welsh) Shelley.

20.01.2022 Had a lovely bonding session with Sheldon and Burger today, gave them both a thorough grooming, then went for a walk up the road. Getting to know their individual personalities, Sheldon is proving to be a real character

20.01.2022 My video entry for the Horseland digital jumping competition, KASK 80cm class. #HorselandDigitalJE #horselandxkask80

19.01.2022 We've had a big weekend of horse events, yesterday we attended H&D's official Dressage and SJ day, it was a great day, Jess and Ayla did a fantastic job, riding some lovely dressage tests in the morning (Jess and Dreamy got second in their 1C test) in the afternoon Jess rode Dreamy in the 80 & 95cm show jumping rounds, they rode 3 clear rounds and bought home 2nd in 80cm and 1st in 95cm. Thanks to H&D for hosting a great event.

18.01.2022 Jessica's 95cm round from H&D's official Dressage and SJ day on Saturday.

18.01.2022 Emma is so excited to be attending her first Pony Club rally tomorrow. She came over this afternoon to clean gear with Jess and Ayla, she washed and polished all her tack, brought Taffy ( with Jessica's help) down from the back paddock and even polished her boots.

18.01.2022 Yesterday we had a lovely pony session with Taffy, Charlie and Pandora and all the girls, my two daughters and three granddaughters ( although little Ruby slept the whole way in the carry pouch). We went for a walk/ ride up the road. It was also Larissa and Emma's first ride together.

16.01.2022 Well done to all our riders and ponies, who did a fantastic job at the rally on Sunday. Emma at only her second rally on Taffy, who was feeling rather full of himself, Ev rode Flirt for the very first time, and handled her very well. France (Jess and Ayla's project and potentially Ayla's future horse) was attending only her second rally and it was Ayla's first ride on her outside of the arena / jumping paddock. And Jess on the beautiful and experienced Dreamy doing what they love best, Jess got to jump her first grade 1 jump and then there was no stopping her. We all had a very enjoyably day.

16.01.2022 Sheldon and Burger are extremely playful ponies, they will play with each other as well as things they can get hold off, I've had to retrieve the hose from them a couple of times. Today Jess decided to give them a bucket and box to play with, the bucket was an instant hit but they weren't sure about the box so Jess showed them how to play with it, I think they were more interested in playing with Jess

15.01.2022 I think France wanted to help with her paddock clean up tonight. A great effort but a little more practice / training needed before Jess and I can retire.

15.01.2022 Jess made a compilation of all of her jumps from the rally yesterday. I can't believe she's jumping grade 1 jumps, Dreamy has taken Jess from grade 5 on Taffy and given her the skills and confidence to aim for trials this season, they have developed such a wonderful, strong relationship over the 11 months she's been with us. We are so so grateful to @Hailey Louise Jacobson for leasing us your special Dreamy.

14.01.2022 Lovely to finally be back at pony club. Emma thoroughly enjoyed her first rally with our super Taffy (who was very happy to be out and about again). Ayla rode her lovely Sunny and Jess took along the beautiful France, their first outing together.

13.01.2022 Jess had a super XC lesson today with Meegan Daun at Huntingfield. So lovely to watch her and Dreamy doing what they love best

12.01.2022 Videos of Barrel racing today.

12.01.2022 Langara Marmaduke (Duke) had a ride with Tasmanian Horse Transport today, to his new home with @Suzanne Badcock. We look forward to visiting him in the future.

11.01.2022 12 months ago we sadly said goodbye to my beautiful Brandy. He was a gentle and loyal boy and we had 24 wonderful years together. This year we remembered him by planting a tree in his memory. Several of our horses gathered around, I like to think they were remembering him too, but were most likely wanting to eat the tree. Due to Brandy's love of jumping we built a XC jump into the corner of the fence, Jess has called it the "memory lane" jump.

11.01.2022 Langara Park / Tara Glen ponies ready for a day of pony club at Huntingfield.

10.01.2022 Emma wanted a Unicorn party for her 5th birthday. So Jess and I turned our super Taffy into a Unicorn and went over to surprise Emma. It made her day, she was an extremely happy little lady

07.01.2022 Emma rode independently for her entire lesson today. She was so proud of herself, as are the rest of us.

07.01.2022 A child's love for her pony is so special

06.01.2022 Langara Park ponies and riders had a great day yesterday at the Huntingfield Spring Show, it was lovely to be out and about with our friends and family. Our little Emma took our wonderful Taffy, it was their first show together and they looked great. She had a great time showing her riding skills in the topsy ring and entered the fancy dress class as a princess on her unicorn, so sweet. She even came home with reserve champion. Ayla rode her lovely Tara Glen Dance thru Franc...e, it was their first competition together. They looked great riding in the hacking classes, France had a few TB moments, but Ayla handled her extremely well, they then went on to jumping but unfortunately in the 30cm round France thought she was doing 80cm. Jess took two horses, Tara Glen Dreams Royalle and our own Langara Miss Flirt. She rode Dreamy in the hacking classes and then the 60, 70 & 80 cm jumping rounds and rode Flirt in 40, 50 & 60cm rounds. She did a beautiful job, we were very impressed with Flirt getting 3rd & 2nd in the 40cm & 50cm rounds. They all rode beautifully and I'm super proud of them, well done girls. Thanks Huntingfield for putting on a great day. See more

05.01.2022 Jess had her first ride on Burger today. We couldn't be happier, he was such a good boy

05.01.2022 Emma had her first independent ride today on Taffy, then she had a go over the trot poles and a small jump, she did so well and was really chuffed with her achievements. Super job Emma, well done.

05.01.2022 Today was rally day, followed by a barrel racing, keyhole and bouncy pony fundraising event in the afternoon. It was a lovely rally, all the girls enjoyed their lessons, Emma did a super job, riding off lead rein in some of her lessons for the first time at pony club. The afternoon activities were awesome, lots of fun for both riders and spectators. A huge thank you to Meagan Sommerville and every one who made it happen.

04.01.2022 Two more pairs of jump wings made this week for our existing pole sets, completing our dazzle and pyramid jumps. Jess and Ayla had fun today trying them out.

03.01.2022 Team Langara attended the first ODE of the season today. Thanks to Monmouth Pony Club for hosting such a great day. Jess took her beloved Dreamy, they are competing grade 3 this season, aiming to make it to trials next year. They did their best dressage test to date and went double clear in XC and SJ to finish 3rd. She also rode France (Tara Glen Dance thru France) in grade 5, she will be campaigning her this year for Ayla and Tara Glen. France was far more relaxed out today and did an ok dressage test, she was nice and chilled on XC going clear and had 1 rail down in SJ, finishing in second place. Thanks to Jackie and Ayla for coming and helping us out and thanks to Tam and Hailey for your support.

03.01.2022 It was full swing at the property today, with friends, family and horses all enjoying the lovely spring weather.

03.01.2022 Yesterday at the Huon Pony Club short coarse event, everyone had such a great day. Jess represented Tara Glen riding two of their horses, she competed in her first grade three event on the beautiful miss Dreamy, they rode a lovely, calm dressage test and rode a fantastic jumping and cross country round. Jess took Tara Glen dance thru France to her first competition, they had a beautiful dressage test, and nailed the grade 5 jumping and cross country Our beautiful Langara P...ark miss Flirt helped Evelyn with her first ever event, Ev was a bit nervous during the day but did a great dressage test and jumping round, unfortunately got eliminated on cross country but the first few jumps were beautiful. Everyone should be so proud of their selves and there horses. also a huge thanks to all the organisers for putting on a fantastic day, and thanks to all the cheer squad.

01.01.2022 We've been busy during isolation, we designed and built this jump set. It is double sided, one side is a brick wall, the other side barn doors and both sides have matching fillers, the fillers can also be used to turn it into a spread. We are all extremely happy with it, especially Jess.
