24.01.2022 A MESSAGE FROM THE STRATHALBYN & DISTRICT BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION: SUMMER SEASON REGO OPEN The Strathalbyn & District Basketball Association is now calling on registrations for our summer season for our junior grades for kids born 2004-2012 . Registrations are open during the month of September. Summer season we will aim to start in the 2nd week of term 4. This season we will also aim to open a under 10 competition for kids born 2012 or later who are new to the game. Players m...ust be 6 years of age to register but this should be a great opportunity for early beginners. We would encourage all girls and boys looking to play basketball in our fantastic basketball association to register and join in the summer competitions. Season fees for under 12's is $60.00 and $75.00 for under 18's. Either highlight the link or copy and into your browser. It’s important any players from last season use last seasons password. https://membership.sportstg.com/regoform.cgi SENIOR PLAYERS WANTED The Strathalbyn & District Basketball Association would like to call on player registrations for our Senior A grade Men and B Grade Men competitions for this summer season. Plus registrations for a Senior Women A grade and B grade Competition. The S&DBA would like to increase participation in our senior competitions and would like to offer an A Grade and B Grade option if player interest is enough to allow split competitions. If you would like to play and not sure on a team please register and we will get you in a team. Teams and competition grading will be sorted out as player registrations come in. We do look forward to seeing more participation in our senior competitions and would encourage anyone wanting to play to register for the summer competition starting early October. 07.01.2022 Wow What a season 2020 brought us at LCNC. With 5 teams in the GRAND FINAL we came home with 4 premierships!!! Sunday saw our club celebrate our club and it’s players, patrons, volunteers and supporters. Trophies were presented to our junior and senior players. Congratulations to all those who were awarded with these and to Belinda Clifford who was awarded our Club Person of the Year, Miah Follett our Junior Sports Person of the year, Erin Moore with the Kathy Knight Memor...ial trophy and Michelle Koehler receiving the presidents posy. Thanks were given to our umpires, our canteen helpers and many more volunteers who help make our club as great as it is. We can’t wait for 2021
