25.01.2022 Was great to have Georgia and Lenny Newton come back yesterday and stay the night for more solar! Added a second LG 330 watt panel plus upgraded to a Victron 50 amp smart solar charge controller with Bluetooth built in. Previously, the first LG panel was fitted running length ways to give a sleek look. Due to some roof vents being in the way we had no option but to turn the panels and run them across the bus instead. Still a neat outcome in the end. Pity it was overcast so we couldn't get an impressive output to display on the Victron phone app from the 660 watts of total LG solar goodness!

21.01.2022 Here's a drone shot of a truck based motorhome we've been installing solar and batteries on for the last few days. This thing is epic. No need for a generator or mains connection here. It's got 16 x 330w qCells solar panels, a Victron Quattro 8kVA inverter/charger, 3 x Powerplus 3.3kWhr batteries. Full online monitoring of the solar system has been incorporated too. Plenty of power on board for the 3 air conditioners, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine, 2 TVs - the list goes on! #campingsnotwhatitusedtobe

16.01.2022 Little repair job carried out today. 3 X 120ahr AGM batteries connected in parallel for a 12v system. Replaced with an Enerdrive 12v 200ahr lithium battery. Here's the trap with parallel connections of batteries like this. One battery drops a cell so it's voltage goes down to 10v. The other 2 batteries then start dumping current into the bad battery. The entire system voltage falls, so the charger kicks into bulk charge mode pushing more current into the bad battery. Without ...monitoring or alarms to let you know, the process keeps on going destroying the whole setup. These 3 batteries had to be separated with a crop bar as they had melted together.

14.01.2022 One happy camper! Installed a 330watt Lg Neon2 solar panel and MPPT charge controller onto this customer's Toyota Coaster motor home today. Plenty of power to charge those 2 x 160 ahr Full River batteries he has on board.

13.01.2022 Its been a busy week working on a Toyota Coaster Motorhome! Installed 3 qCells 325w solar panels, 2 MaxFans and this fantastic Victron / Power Plus Energy lithium battery combo. Theres still some tidying up of the cabling to be done once the cabinetry is finally installed. 5 year warranty on the Victron gear and a 10 year warranty on the batteries - you wont find that level of quality and support on your ebay specials!... #langshorepower #victron #powerplus_energy See more

11.01.2022 Another happy customer! This pre-wired system was designed, built, fully tested and then shipped off to the customer for final installation. All battery cables, solar panel wiring circuit breakers safety switches etc included as part of the build process. Feel free to give me a call if you want something similar done!

04.01.2022 So this project kept us a little busy last week - top location too! The team and I installed 276 Canadian Solar 360w panels onto the roof of one of the resort buildings. Back there next week to do the final connections of 5 x 20kW Fronius Symo inverters. TIGO optimisers were also installed on each panel to give individual panel monitoring. The system will feed power back into the generator network (no mains grid available) to reduce daytime fuel burn, saving about 100L per of diesel each day.
