21.01.2022 It is with profound sadness that I write to let you know the ‘mother’ of Lanidale Orchard, my stepmother and my friend passed peacefully at home, last night 20th November, surrounded by her adoring family after a long and brave battle. Margos wisdom, her love of people, of culture, of language, laughs and cherries created this little orchard 20 years ago. Today her wisdom, guidance and love will be so incredibly missed. Vale ~ Margo Carole Honeyman, we will love you forever

21.01.2022 For all those messaging - YES our shop is open 8am - 6pm today (23rd) and tomorrow (24th) - We are closed Christmas Day (25th) - We will then open Boxing Day 8am and be open each day until the season ends.

21.01.2022 Our growing fruit So nice (and relieving!) to see such a beautiful crop of apricots on this year, after losing the lot to frost last year! The cherries looking lovely as always . 19.01.2022 We hope you had a wonderful Christmas, everybody! Enjoying family, friends, food and festivities For all of you waiting, today we have started picking our Morellos (sour cherry). There is still lovely U-Picking in many varieties and our shop full of sweet cherries packed and ready for you. We look forward to seeing you over this New Year period. We’ll be open everyday now, 8am-6pm until about Mid January.

18.01.2022 Firstly, thank you everyone for the amazing support and love after the passing of Margo And secondly - YES we are open and the cherries are AMAZING!! The weather, these last 2 weeks, has been so kind - ripened slowly so are SO SWEET, big size and in perfect condition.... and we have plenty! Shed sales & U-Pick open 7 days 8am to 6pm. See you soon for some Christmas cherries

16.01.2022 Today we picked our first cherries and tomorrow we open our gate for SHED SALES ONLY at this stage. U-PICK will open when there are enough ripe cherries to go around. Things look a little different, but we’re so grateful to be able to open and to welcome you all in. We do have regulations to follow such as masks are mandatory, there’s a visitors book to sign and of course hand sanitiser and social distancing rules apply. We have done our best to mark it all out, as c...learly as possible but please let us know if there is anything you are concerned about. We understand this year has been really difficult for many and beliefs vary and people are passionate, but please remember we are only doing what is required to open, so relax and leave any political opinions at the gate. Our only motivation is to provide beautiful fresh cherries to you, and for you to be able to visit some wide open & relaxed space. So be kind, remember those serving you are only doing what’s been asked of them and enjoy your visit. We look forward to seeing you soon. See more

11.01.2022 Hey guys, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and are gearing up for a brilliant 2020 We closed early today as we sold out of ripe fruit. We’ll be closed tomorrow due to the heat but then OPEN AGAIN on TUESDAY with some beautiful Sweet Georgia Our Gold Rich are also nearly there, finally! And we hope to be picking them ready for Tuesday for the new year! They look amazing, so I’m sure once tree ripened they’ll taste it too!

I’ve been very quiet on our social media, waiting on being able to provide you with the most accurate information about us opening the farm this season! A post will go up soon about managing regulations and keeping everyone safe and our farm open to you all. Cherry season is not far away now and we are so happy that we should be able to see many ...of you, once the distance restrictions lift Stay tuned xx

I think, to varying extents, everyone in Victoria, NSW and beyond is being physically and/or emotionally impacted by these fires. I am sending as much love as I can muster to you all. Continue to donate (no matter how small - it all helps) and continue to put your hands up to help. You will always make a difference in peoples (or animals!) lives...whether you’re aware of it or not.
