25.01.2022 A few spray units going to their new homes

25.01.2022 Small irrigation extension. We use RJ hydrants because unlike other makes, these seal better with more pressure, means less leaks and more water on crop.

25.01.2022 We couldnt buy the angle that we needed on this large diameter poly. So we made it

25.01.2022 Little upgrade for the council today. This pump takes the raw seepage from the tip face (called leachate) into the sewage treatment plant.

23.01.2022 We are now a NSW water accredited certified meter installer. Call us to discuss how we can help you satisfy the conditions of your water licence.

23.01.2022 We replaced a 3 hp pump from the Richmond yesterday, only provided about 15 litres per min with this Franklin submersible. 1 hp and 100 litres per min! Thats efficiency!

22.01.2022 We couldn’t buy the angle that we needed on this large diameter poly. So we made it

17.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who liked shared and commented on our poly pipe post. We have now exhausted our stock. Over 5kms of pipe was donated and we sincerely hope it has made a difference to those affected.

16.01.2022 This week at LT Irrigation expansion on the Clarence Solar pumps both new and old.

15.01.2022 Under bore welding job, went right under a main road! A true test of a weld when it is dragged 40m underground. Some of our best customers did their own earth works and pvc joining themselves. Great collaborative approach to a big job.

14.01.2022 A few household pumps for the LT team to plumb up in the coming weeks.

14.01.2022 Another big week for LT. Radio towers up, 3 x solar pumps, irrigation main line in and a new build in the workshop.

13.01.2022 Tim Hills messaged us through fb to ask about a pump upgrade. A nice little DAB 251 installed, no more petrol! Thanks for the job Tim!

12.01.2022 New tanks, new problems, new dams and new pumps.

11.01.2022 Celebrated 20 years this week of Gavin and Kate at the helm. Lanson Trading has come a long way in that short time. Staffing went from 1 in the office and 2 in the field/workshop to the bunch that stood still long enough for a photo. There is many family, friends and sub contractors to thank, as well as our loyal customers. Cheers to 20!... May the next 20 be just as good! See more

11.01.2022 We have had a little project going on for quite sometime now. This unit was temporarily installed two years ago in a flood zone. Now a more permanent set up, high and dry! Everything in the flood zone including the water meter is flood rated. Diesel is a deutz powering a 380mm impeller pump that can move up to 1.2 meg per hour. Added a water Nsw approved Kronhe meter that complies to the new regulations. Thanks to Casino Engineering for the structure and drive train and Dean Murphy concreting extraordinaire.

11.01.2022 Very busy these past few weeks, a few irrigation jobs, lots of solar pumps and a few tanks. When the hell will it rain?

09.01.2022 Busy start to the week. Solars, fire units and custom irrigation units.

08.01.2022 Some months ago we where approached by the member services division of the NCMC. They had received some funding by some environmental bodies to help reduce erosion on creeks. This was achieved by fencing the creek lines and providing alternative sources of water. Our goals were -identify an alternative source of water -create a a way to extract that water -and move the water to the right location... The first site is below the dam at rocky creek. We chose a location higher up on the hill, and sank a 4.8m well. This proved a great decision and filled up immediately. We added a solar pump and tank at the top of the hill to reticulate to the farm. The second site was on the Nimbin rd. For the abundance of water, it proved hard to find something usable. We again sank a well, only to find it dry when we went to connect it. So we brought in some bigger machinery and dug the dam below. This also proved worthwhile, as we where able to get enough fall to start a siphon to a trough. Everyone loves free water! Overall a very successful project with some very positive environmental outcomes. See more

07.01.2022 Drainage project for Government. It’s good to be good at what you do!

06.01.2022 A small 375mm irrigation pipe yesterday. Two little diggers making light work of it.

06.01.2022 Gav and Josh put this unit in near Newrybar. A robust and high quality Lorentz PS600 system. We have installed this brand for over 12 years and are still impressed with the build quality and features.

05.01.2022 I love this land Australia, its coursing through my veins, But Ive gotta tell ya mate, I like it better when it rains. The countryside is dying and theres ju...st no end in sight, and just to rub salt in the wounds, the bush has caught alight. The landscape is on fire from Brisbane to the Gong And everybodys asking where the hell did we go wrong? But we can get through this one if we help each other out, take care of your neighbour , thats what Aussies are about. The rain is going to fall again , the good times will return. But living in Australia means at times its going to burn. So if you need a helping hand, just give a mate a call. Were all here to help you out and catch you when you fall. The RFS, the SES, the Firies, and police, all put their lives upon the line to help to keep the peace. So hats off to these heroes and thanks for all you do And I hope when this is over we can make it up to you! Troy Gerdes.
