23.01.2022 Happy to let everyone know that Council endorsed the Connect South Mends St Master Plan Concept Design. In addition, and after much discussion and debate, the ...Stage 1 works were supported subject to an amendment to the officer recommendation relating to the tree bosque. The tree bosque is supported in principle and that its features be given further consideration before finalisation in the detailed design phase. Once the minutes are published we will provide the full alternative motion that was passed 6 - 1 by Council. Thank you City of South Perth + Councillors for pushing this project forward and ultimately working towards the delivery of a world class foreshore public realm that reflects and respects the amazing natural assets and stunning city views that we are blessed with. Thank you to everyone that got in touch with Councillors in the lead up to tonights meeting and/or gave deputations last week in support of the project.
