Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your match. Their is cricket nets at the ground. ALL Players are to be added to team list by organisor. You MUST only play for ONE team throughout the entire tournament. You MUST have played in 1 match over the weekend prior to SF to be involved in a semi or final. If a player has played 10 games this year for ONE team they will be permitted to take part in the SF and F can play.Top 2 teams will advance to cup SF,top 6 will battle it out for the cup. 23.01.2022 Div 5 Final - April Fools v SOS April Fools are our newest side in LMS and started in our friendly matches during June and didnt win a match! Fast forward 7 weeks into the competition and the lads are undefeated. Powerful side with the bat and a fun fit side in the field. The Kirk Brothers have been unstoppable this season and will need to bring it on Sunday!... SOS make it through on a last ball boundary over a rejuvenated Norfies. Very experienced side the SOS lads will be a force on Sunday with Andy Weier full of confidence on the back of last weeks knock. Kickbusch,Clarke,Dale and Heinz just to name a few! 22.01.2022 Redbacks B middle get the job done for Redbacks B! Mitch Middleton 54*(30) and POTM Casey Tipping 51*(33) steadied the ship after losing both openers early. Tim Henrikson and Josh Sandnes picking up 2 wickets each. Redbacks bowling unit were switched on and incredibly all 7 bowlers used picked up a wicket. Matty Mogg was dangerous with 42(24).... Fresh off a Grand Final spot in Gatton Smash last week the runs were flowing early as Dan Sykes 53*(22) POTM Ash Brown 51*(25) and pocket rocket Brandon Webb 50*(18) all dispatched the SOP bowling unit over the Blair oval. Simon Thorp best with ball 2/20. Needing a whopping 245 to win it was a steady start before an almighty collapse of 7/50 but one man stood tall at the other end and was playin...g on another level! In bother throughout the entire innings with wickets constantly falling it was the man in form Michael Hawkins playing a match winning knock and the only retirement in a match for the bowlers. Hawko smacked 53(29) as April Fools bowled 2nd xL out in the 19th with the Pointon bros ripping in with 3/30 off 6!... Jesse Pointon 50*(31) Zev McNeill 40*(30) Steven Kunke 42(27) and Ross Pointon 41*(20) helped build the winning total 185. Wickets hard to come by for the Parks with the 47ers running hard between the wickets. 17.01.2022 April fools go 9 from 9 to remain undefeated and pick up the Div 5 championship! Fools were in trouble early and it was a match saving 47 from Shane Currie at number 6 changing this one. Incredibly 4 golden ducks across this match with SOS bearing 3 of them. Kris Kickbusch played a lone role at the top with a brilliant 78(58). Corey Kirk cleaning up 3/24(4).... Damon Viellaris 37(17) and Jesse Pointon 34(19) setting up the total. Aaron Payne was YG best with 3/36(4). THAT man Michael Hawkins was in it again 50*(23) and Brian Murphy 43(28) were flying and on track for victory before Murphy’s wicket caused an almighty collapse losing 6/50 and with Hawko enroute to another field... the Young Guns were all out in the 18th over. 16.01.2022 The 2nd Xl remain undefeated in Ipswich 2020 after a thrilling 3 wicket win over In n Outs in a high quality Division 1 Final! 370 runs between both sides as the ball was dispatched all over Silkstone. In n Outs would bat first and the openers went to work as POTM Peter Van Der Kooij 51*(22) Alex Leotta 50*(39) and Michael Hawkins 52*(20) pushing the score to 183.... POTM Dan Halliday was explosive at the top as the big unit cleared the rope on multiple occasions with 53*(18), Tim Smail 48* and Joel Sleep 29* chipped in to help build the team total 190. ... In Reply big hitting Brian Murphy went for 20 and Cam Nichol a first baller the panthers were in trouble. Steven Khunke 50*(29) and Matty Mogg 50*(25) had the lads back in it. 12.01.2022 47ers take out the Ipswich winter division 2 title with a comfortable 6 wicket victory over Redbank Rippers! Redbank Rippers were only able to put 100 runs on the board as half of the team could not reach double figures. POTM Josh Bakes, Jye Mullen and Shardon Wilson all snaring 2 wickets a piece. Rippers started well picking up 2 very quick wickets but only defending 100 would be tough. Bakes 51*(25) and Anthony Kramer 44*(38) getting the job done in the 14th over.... Well done 47ers who have been runners up a few times. Congratulations also to The Kieths who picked up the Division 4 championship.

12.01.2022 Redbacks B are division 3 champions after a crushing 5 wicket victory over the red hot 8 ducks! Kris Simpson 4/17(2.3) and POTM Lee Brown 3 stumpings have decimated the 8 Ducks batting line up. Wickets regularly ensured the Redbacks were always on top here. Brandon Webb 45(22) and Brown 18*(8) launched early to chase down 104 in just 10 overs.... 12.01.2022 Wanderers and April Fools play out our Pool A match of the day! The Wanderers open their account with a victory with just 7 balls remaining. The underfeated April Fools elected to bat first with the new ball on a dry Bundamba outfield, both openers getting off to a wonderful start before then Chris Manz had other plans sending both openers packing caught behind in consecutive overs. Some middle order hitting seen Corey Kirk & Jy Mullen combine for a 50+ partnership and some l...ate hitting from Aaron Maricic saw the April fool 164 for the loss of 6 Wickets. YG bowled out In the 12th over for 101 with dominate Left Hander Brian Murphy playing in a different match to belt 52(25) as the other 7 lads were all out for 50 including 3 ducks. Warren Kemp brilliance in the field was one of the highlights after the ball was smashed directly at him to then pick up and throw down the stumps and have Adam Barrow gone for a golden! 10.01.2022 !!!!!!THE BIG DANCE!!!!!! Division 1 GF between our 2 best teams all season this Sunday at Grange Rd 11am. The undefeated 2nd xl are raging hot favourites to take down the 2019 National champs Semi finalists In n Outs.... Earlier this season in round 1 it was the Champs crushing In n Outs by 8 wickets to chase down 112 in 12 overs. In n outs have not lost since and are building for another big tournament on the Gold Coast. 2nd Xl are littered with stars from 1-8 and just know how to score bulk runs and get wickets in crucial moments. The Henderson will be 12 JD cans deep by first ball and that is when the little maestro is at his most deadly! Oconnell will Bomb from ball one and Cozza with the new pill can decimate! BK to play another big knock. Jimmy and his merry men have never won a Ipswich title and will need Hawko and Scotty Schultz at their best. Hawko is one of the best bats in LMS and if Captain Cain and the Superstar All rounders Peter V and Blighty get in the game the lads from over the range will be a chance. 02.01.2022 Couple of Darkhorses picking up HUGE SF victories! Cam Wood was a standout in last Winters Competition Leading the player of season in Div 1 before the finals began. Nick Berg has scored a team high 96not this season. One of the best dressed teams we have across the league and are a big chance for a maiden title. Both these men score runs and The Kieths will be a big chance. Shits N Giggles are full of experience and attacking and exciting players across the 8. 01.01.2022 The 2nd xl are away for 2021 piling on round ones highest total but it wasn’t all one way traffic! Brad Bowman ripped through the lads to pick up the matches best figures 3/18(4) but unfortunately for the Masterbatters the rest of the side not so much good fortune. 2021 off season signing Michael Hawkins continues to score at will 60(29) and a captains knock from Brodie Kenyon 57*(30) pushing the total to 210. The Elkins brothers have had better days with the ball after conce...ding 58 off their combined 3 overs. Incredibly both Elkins lads were removed for first ballers and the boys in a bit of bother. A couple of 20s from Bowman and Brendan Barnes helped get back in the game but it was Matty Crone launching 58(24) including 6 maximums. Kris Simpson accepted the call into the 2nd xl after earlier GF success to have a huge impact with 2 wickets. 01.01.2022 Swamp Donkeys keep top position in Pool B! Even match throughout with poll position changing by the over with the Donkeys starting on top with some tight bowling and runs hard to score. Man in form Kris Kickbusch 52*(39) toiled away before POTM Andrew Weier decimated the bowling with 52*(15) which astonishingly included 48 runs in boundaries and over the rope. ... Similar story here with runs tough to score but Matt Brown held strong at the top to set up the win 53*(31) before prodigal son Andy Levett 51*(23) ensured the victory with 9 deliveries remaining.
