18.01.2022 $6.00 for 120g bar

15.01.2022 As all my soaps take 6 weeks to cure, it will be a couple of months before I can start a full product range for you to enjoy. I do have batches ready to go now,... but they are very limited in numbers at this early stage. Price of each soap bar will range from $3 upwards (on a 110g bar) depending on each range. Feedback from my sample range has been positive, including the added bonus of using my soaps as a shampoo to moisturise the scalp and naturally condition the hair. The venue where you will be able to purchase my soaps will be at Interesting Things, Shop 1188a Sandage Road, Nundah Village and from my home at Jindalee. I will be letting you know in good time as to when to expect my array of delightful soaps, closer to the time. So, what type of soaps have I been making I hear you ask? Neem Oil Range Neem Oil is a vegetable oil pressed from the fruits and seeds of Azadirachta Indica, an evergreen tree indigenous to the Indian subcontinent. The oil from the neem tree is usually light to dark brown in colour and has a strong odour reminiscent of a mixture of garlic and peanuts. Neem oil is popular in the treatment of numerous conditions such as acne, dandruff, ringworm, psoriasis and eczema, scabies, lice and athlete's foot. Other benefits have been established that it is an excellent insect repellent against mosquitoes and sand flies. Because this is a pure soap, it is very safe and can be used on young infants, and can be beneficial on your pets, as it kills fleas, and ticks with the added advantage of soothing irritated and sensitive skin. Yoghurt Range When topically applied to the skin, velvety yogurt will help skin-rejuvenation, moisturise, fight acne, prevent premature aging, relieve sunburn and reduce discoloration. It’s an all-around beauty multitasker. The lactic acid, a natural alpha hydroxy acid, in the yogurt helps smooth and exfoliate skin and has a delicious silky smooth lather. Goats Milk and Honey Range Goat's milk is a natural emollient that helps soothe and moisturize the skin. It contains vitamins A, B6, B12 and E. Goat's milk has 3 times more beta-casein than cow's milk. Caseins are easily absorbed into the skin and allow for quick hydration of dry skin. The content of triglycerides, capric, caprylic and caproic acid helps balance the skin's natural pH and promotes natural exfoliation of dry skin. Goat's Milk pasteurised full cream goat's milk powder is an excellent ingredient to include in bath, soap, cream and lotion formulations. Milk and Honey Range Full cream cows milk range give a Cleopatra glow to your skin. Coffee Range The coffee aroma while using this soap is sensational. The coffee grounds make it an excellent exfoliating experience.

14.01.2022 To ensure longevity and getting the most out of my soaps (we all expect quality and value for our money), can I make a suggestion and share some tips with you: Keep soap as dry as possible when not in use, i.e.: use a very efficient soap holder that drains and aerates the soap. ... Leaving soap swimming in a puddle of water inbetween usage, will soften the soap and thereby reducing its shelf life considerably and dilute the nourishing moisturising benefits my soap brings. If you cut my soap in half and keep the unused half in a cool dry place away from the bathroom (and humidity), this will ensure its quality, goodness and shelf life is preserved. Don't throw away that little bit of soap you just can't pick up because it is too thin and difficult to use. Mold it to the next bar of soap you will be using. Every slither of my soap is brimming with richness and absolute quality and goodness, made with care and attention. Enjoy every last bit. While the weather is warm, wet yourself thoroughly, then turn the water off. Use my soap as a shampoo and enjoy that silky smooth rich lather from top to toe. Massaging it in and taking time to give attention to your dry and problem areas and give it time to soak into your skin, before rinsing off. Something I've noticed already and was a lovely surprise, cracks in my heals are gone. Didn't even think that would happen. Stay tuned for other interesting tips I will be sharing with you, such as the benefits of my ingredients, to assist you with specific skin types.

08.01.2022 Castile Soap is my favourite soap. Extra virgin olive oil and a hind of extra virgin coconut oil to bring lather, is the best moisturising soap of all time. Good old fashioned recipe with a dollop of raw honey collected from the local area makes this a unique product. Pure essential oils I have used are French Lavender and Lemon. Unscented is also available. Lotus soap is 120g in gift box scented $5, unscented $4. 95g Tree soap is $4 scented and $3 unscented. Available at Jindalee by appointment only.
