16.01.2022 EXHALE | We’ve been quiet on our socials for a few months while dealing with the COVID chaos along with the rest of the world. We are so blessed to live in #WesternAustralia with a strong government and exceptional health care. Rightly so, regional travel restrictions mean we have not been able to travel from Perth to our beloved second home in Jurien Bay for a few months. We fully support the need to protect those who live in the many small towns throughout our beauti...ful state. We are also glad to hear travel restrictions between Perth and the Wheatbelt region will be eased from Monday 18 May. We can’t wait to visit #JurienBay again, to support our favourite local businesses and hit the beach. We also look forward to welcoming Western Australian guests back to the beach house soon. 15.01.2022 Yesterday we had the absolute privilege of witnessing, and swimming with, these majestic and playful creatures off the coast of #JurienBay. If you have a boat, be sure to respect their habitat by anchoring safely well away from their islands and never touch or approach the sea lions. There are also several great tour operators who can take you to the best spots, supply all the equipment you need to swim with them and share their fabulous local knowledge.

Their sunny reviews bring a smile to our dials . ... Great accommodation for a relaxing quiet weekend away! On a quiet street which is great for privacy, clean house with pretty decor and comfortable stay with everything you need. "Couldn’t recommend this house more! Beautiful and very comfortable to stay at. Very local to the shops and the jetty. Nadia was also very helpful on recommending some local attractions and being very quick with her responses. 11.01.2022 NO RUSTY FRYPANS / We had a little chuckle and a moment of pride when our last guest left us a 5 star review that mentioned that our humble kitchen has some of the best facilities he’s ever come across in his time using an Airbnb and no rusty frying pans in sight! We love cooking feasts when we are at the beach house and are glad our guests can find everything they need for a comfortable and delicious stay. Read the full review below:... "This home is an ideal place for families and friends to get away. The location is great, very quiet, comfy and lots of space for everyone. There are amazing front and back yards with beautiful grass, both are fully fenced in and safe for young kids to play. The beds and living areas were all comfortable and everything was very clean. There's plenty to do around the area with some beautiful beaches. Our host Nadia was amazing. She gave us plenty of tips for things to do in and around Jurien Bay and had little surprises for the kids when they arrived. Check in process was very easy as was the check out. The kitchen facilities here were great the best I've come across in my time using Airbnb (not a single rusty frying pan and all the basics plus). Our trip was unfortunately cut short due to a surprise lock down in Perth and Nadia was quick to get in touch with us. We were even refunded for the early departure. 01.01.2022 Where can I snorkel along the Turquoise Coast? If you are travelling by road There are too many places to list here but there are a few special spots that are ...easy to get to, shallow enough for inexperienced snorkelers, and full of interesting critters, crawlies, and underwater reef to explore. Try the point at Sandy Cape or one of the many places along the track to North Head. Point Louise lookout near Green Head is little bit more adventurous, with deep dark reef holes to explore. For small fry and ankle biters, the shallows around Milligan’s island north of Green Head are just perfect. Dynamite Bay right in town at Green Head caters for all ages and skills. Try Hangover Bay south of Cervantes or simply do your own searching and find a secluded spot with close to shore reef. If you are skimming the water by boat You will be like a kid in a lolly shop out of Jurien Bay, Cervantes, Green Head or Leeman There are shipwrecks to explore, shallow reef systems all over the place and crayfish waiting to be wrestled from their hidey holes. Pack your fins and goggles or hire in town to see what the Turquoise coast looks like underwater. See more
