Private Lives 3 will be launched by Victorian Minister for Health and Minister for Equality The Hon. Martin Foley MP, lead researcher and ARCSHS Deputy Director Anthony Lyons, and Rainbow Health Victoria director Marina Carman. The launch will also feature a panel discussion with Associate Profess...or Ruth McNair AM, ACON Manager of Trans Health Equity Teddy Cook, and Thorne Harbour Health CEO Simon Ruth, facilitated by Rainbow Health Victoria Head of Strategy and Policy Jackson Fairchild. Private Lives is one of the country's most important national surveys of the health and wellbeing of LGBTIQ people in Australia, and at the time of its inception in 2006, was the largest survey of its kind anywhere in the world.
