23.01.2022 Goodbye everybody, Ive got to go. Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth. It is with heavy hearts that the Latrobe Theatre Company wishes to advise our members and supporters that we have decided to postpone our July 2020 production of We Will Rock You. In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic concerns, the safety of our cast and production team is paramount. We are all Under Pressure to do our part and there are too many unknowns at this time...and the next few ...months are so uncertain. So we will Play the Game and take a hiatus from rehearsals and wait for the Hammer to Fall. And the show WILL GO ON! We Will Rock You in February 2021!!

LTC Kids will return to the Wings at the end of 2020, for one of the FIRST productions of Disneys Moana Jr! We were so lightning fast at applying for this newly-released show, the licensing company didnt even have paperwork ready to send us. ... 07.01.2022 Please consider adding your name to this petition to allow our ballet/dance/performing arts schools to get back to doing what they love - sharing the love of dance with our young people. Two years ago Dance was the fourth most popular 'sport' in Australia. The figures for people who dance in Australia was as follows: More than 1.3 million people dance, with 743,000 of them aged between just 6 13 which is on par with the number of people who play different sports in Aus...tralia. For example 1.5million people play Footy (6th); 503,000 children and 343,000 adults regularly play Netball (10th); 631,000 children and 328,000 adults regularly play Cricket (8th); 2 million (3rd) people play soccer in our country and approx 974000 of those are children. Those numbers may surprise but it shows that Dance (which is an inherent part of the Performing Arts) is right up there with our most popular sports!!!!
