05.01.2022 The incredible Taylah has recently decided to step down from Latrobe Youth Spaces Youth Governance Committee. (YGC) (But dont worry shes still a youth worker with the space- that hasnt changed) Tay has been with the youth governance project since its inception. From co-design, to the first YGC. She has been an integral part of our committee, the Youth Space family and driver of success in all aspects of Latrobe Youth Space and the YGC. We are of course sad to see Taylah s...tep down and leave the YGC, however, she will still be working as a member of the staff and contributing greatly to our success. She is such a passionate and dedicated human being who has been an amazing part of the spaces governance achievements and success. We of course will still be seeing a lot of Taylah, especially once we return to the space and most definitely in the future. Taylah we all wish you the absolute best and know that you will succeed in leaps and bounds in the future in whatever direction you go in. 04.01.2022 Regional Victoria will move to the third step of easing restrictions from tomorrow at 11.59pm The four reasons to leave your home will no longer apply. Public ...gatherings of up to 10 people outdoors will be allowed. Cafes, restaurants and pubs will be open but restricted to limits and outside dining encouraged. Regional travel to other regional Victorian areas is also allowed. **************************************************************** The article below from The Age by Benjamin Preiss and Rachael Dexter Regional Victoria will move to step three in easing coronavirus restrictions after no new cases were recorded overnight. Premier Daniel Andrews said regional Victoria had done an amazing job in keeping the virus at bay. "Regional Victoria will be opening up in just the next 24 hours or so," he said. Mr Andrews confirmed there were no new infections in regional Victoria overnight bringing the 14 day average of new cases down to 3.6. The four reasons for leaving home will no longer apply but regional Victorians will still have to wear masks. Under the third step in regional Victoria, hospitality businesses will be allowed to serve patrons outside with density quotas. Outdoor real estate auctions will be allowed and private inspections by private appointment can go ahead. Accommodation operators will be allowed to reopen under tight restrictions. The third step will also allow residents to have visitors in their home with the establishment of "bubbles" in which one household can have up to five visitors at a time from another nominated household. On Monday regional Victoria moved to step two, which allowed outdoor meetings of up to five people from two different households.
