04.01.2022 Greetings. How’s things? We hope you’re well and your god is not being too demanding. We at The Duck are very pleased to announce some changes. We have updated our hardware from Digidesign to Metric Halo and Lynx. The audio difference is amazing and we are quite bowled over by the sonic improvements. We are now running Cubase Pro Protools. We purchased some new plugins too. The outboard department will have a Manley Vari Mu by April which will compliment the awesome DW Fearn ...compressor and we have purchased perhaps the best male vocal mic in the world, an SM7b. Something we should have bought years ago. I’m such a silly bunt. Anyways, hindsight is such a wonderful thing. CDA Audio has lent us an Erhlund mic which is a Swiss made condenser dedicated for snares or drums. This mic is now our favourite snare mic. A recent trip to England was filled with good music, including Stanley Clarke blaring out over the ice skating rink’s PA. A good friend of mine posted George Duke’s Feel album featuring Frank Zappa on two tracks. With this in mind we bid you quality listening and seek the road less traveled. Yasoo and may your gods, well screw the gods their more trouble than then their worth. No offence. See more
