I am pleased to have been able to bring my clients and their loved ones home over the past weeks; and to have had the opportunity to provide support and advice to those planning long-anticipated and treasured holidays.... If you have already contacted me but havent yet heard back, please know that I will respond. As Im sure you can understand, I have received a significant increase in enquiries for changes and cancellations. This means I am having to prioritise my responses and contact with my clients based on your planned date of departure. Fortunately, I am supported by my national partnership office at TravelManagers Australia, who has been by my side in offering support to you, keeping me updated on the latest travel advices, and liaising with our partner suppliers to find the best solution for you. They are also working with our preferred partner suppliers to offer incentives to customers to change their plans as opposed to cancelling them. I pride myself on personal service and, particularly during these difficult times, am striving to maintain this level of service and support by finding a solution that suits each of you. 16.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Firstly, I would like to thank you all for consideration and patience during this unprecedented time. Having been in travel for almost 20 years and experiencing the extreme ups and downs of this industry, I have to say, personally this has been by far the most challenging, emotionally and financially.... We are constantly being inundated with information, that is also constantly evolving as the situation changes and sifting through to the actual correct information has certainly been a task. Airlines, suppliers and travel insurance providers, all have their own individual rules, in regards to cancellations and amendments and what they will and will not cover. And there are a lot of determining factors, such as date of travel, when policies, tickets were purchased etc. To get the correct information, this can sometimes take a bit of time, as hold times to airlines etc and email turn around times have blown out. As soon as I receive updated information in regards to your upcoming travel plans, you will be notified. I am already communicating with many of you, and more urgently those departing within the next month. I know many of you are still looking forward to their travels, whilst some of you are considering delaying or cancelling. Unfortunately I cannot guide you to what is right or wrong for you and / or your family, that is a very personal decision. All I can do is be there to support you as best as I can. The reason for my post today is to let you know that I am working on the best possible outcome for you, my valued clients, and ask for your understanding during this very trying time.
