22.01.2022 How wonderful to share the joy of Egyptian dance with nursing home residents!! This week I’ve been doing a mini-performance / seated dance-along routine each day with a different (covid safe) small group of residents at a local home.

20.01.2022 This Sunday open to the public, to everyone near and far, we have special guest international teacher Shining teaching us about Awalim Movement! Anyone who is interested in the movement repertoire of where "Raqs Sharqi" came from, or who wants to dance like the Egyptian urban professional entertainers, should be coming to this! There is still space at Amera's Palace for anyone who wants to watch Shining on the big screen, or otherwise you can do it from your own home.

I'm part of this group, who's main mission is to share the joy of Egyptian dance to all (members and non-members, dancers of all levels, and the general public), including through "workshops" and "classes" open to everyone near and far; you don't need to be a member or a performer!! These days you don't even need to be in Sydney :) Non-members simply receive our newsletters and follow our public pages, and pay individual workshop fees. Please join us!
