21.01.2022 Bathurst brewer Ian Carman is set to launch his own brewing brand (Cosmo Brewing) at a special event at Church Bar + Woodfired Pizza next Monday from 4pm. Ian's first beer, a pilsner, was brewed during the region's snow event in late August, and said the average pilsner is "a cool climate beer that ferments at lower temperatures, which produces a crisp, clean and easy drinking beer."

The conference has set a fundraising goal of $10,000, with funds to go towards furnishings for John Therry House, a homeless and women's refuge set to open in Kelso next month.

18.01.2022 Concern is mounting for former Bathurst resident William Mainprize, who is one of two Australians missing from the crew of the Gulf Livestock 1 vessel, which capsized in a typhoon in the East China Sea (off the coast of Japan) last Wednesday.
