22.01.2022 Our Club celebrated fifty years of service to our community, nation and the world, since chartering way back in 1970. Hear are some snaps that showed what a happy occasion it was.

21.01.2022 Great work Kerang!

20.01.2022 Just because at present our Club isn't able to serve our Community in many ways that we have in the past, doesn't mean we aren't supporting you. Here is President Malcolm & Secretary Susie, presenting cheques to other community support services, FoodShare, HeadSpace & Betty's Place. #Lions #WeServe

13.01.2022 Thanks Stacey Franklin for advertising for us. Hi All 30th of June is fast approaching and if you looking for a tax deduction please consider The Carevan Fou...ndation as a charity to donate to. They are local and the money stays local. I personally know how hard they work and the hours that go into supporting the community. Although I’m not there working, I still believe in the work they do in the community not just with the vulnerable but also with all the incredible school children throughout Albury Wodonga community. 11.01.2022 You mean.. there are recipes??? You don't want to know what goes into our Dim Sims (best served steamed) but our Lion Burgers are made with love. Are you missing the love during lockdown? We are missing you!

10.01.2022 June 1 - pop in your diary, we're reopening! After a 'quiet' few months, we're beyond excited to welcome our locals back to the pub. We've ramped up our he...alth & hygiene measures but we've also had to make a few changes around here, so bear with us. Thanks to all of you who have shown us continued support, pub spirit is in the air and we can't wait to see you soon. Keep reading for our customer conditions of entry we need to collect your name, number and mobile for contact tracing. We'll keep it for 28 days and then throw it away. This doesn't include our guests under 18 y/o. If you're showing flu-like symptoms - stay home, don't share those germs! keep your distance. 1.5M from everyone at all times, please and thanks. we can't take bookings larger than 10 people, this also means no more than 10 people can be seated at one table. last, but not least, we need you to remain seated at all times unless you're moving through the venue or using facilities.

09.01.2022 Our Club may be in hibernation at present due to COVID19, but when it is safe to do so, we will come roaring out of our Dens, ready to serve our community. You can be sure of that!

09.01.2022 Well done Thurgoona Lions!

06.01.2022 Sorry, I should have made myself clearer.....the mask making project is not ME selling them. We, the Yarrawonga Lion’s Clubs Turban Angels Made With Love Free c...hemotherapy Turban Project are sewing them as a fund raiser for postage to enable us to continue sending free headwear to those going through Cancer treatment. $18.65 per 50 turbans to send. The girls are sewing like crazy to raise these dollars. I wanted an honest opinion for sell price. Not rip off. So, next question, how many Yarrawonga locals etc are prepared to pay $10 for 3 layer reversible 100% cotton masks that have been made with love. Thanks guys. See more

05.01.2022 Did you know that this year, Lavington Lions are celebrating FIFTY YEARS of service to our community.

01.01.2022 Hi everyone, Just an update as to where Carevan is at in regards to our meal service. We are still serving meals at our regular venues but we are not utilising ...our venues. We are actually preparing our meals in take home containers back at the depot and transporting them the same hygienic way. We are handing out our meals from the back of the van and complying with all guidelines we are recommended to follow. Over the last two nights this has worked very well and our visitors to our venues are very understanding. Although I must admit I’m definitely missing the chats and banter that we quite often have. We are still checking on our visitors and making sure they are ok as this is just as disruptive to their social well-being as everyone else’s. We are also being aware of our volunteers and looking out for their health and well-being. As we say at Carevan it’s not just about the meal. See more
