16.01.2022 The perfect fan... Each one is hand made and picked up to suit the natural lash being applied to. Picking up between 2-6 fans for standard volume and fanning the width for precise application, wrapping itself around at the base. Creating this is such an art that takes a lot of time, practice and patience - hence each lash appointment taking 1.5-2.5hrs ... Before becoming a lash tech, I had no idea what really went into becoming a technician. Honestly thought it seemed pretty basic - oh how I was so wrong hehe After 4.8 years of consistently servicing you beauties, each day I get to continue to grow and master the skill of such a fine art... Thank you for trusting in me and hope you all have a fab rest of the week

14.01.2022 *IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT* To all of my beautiful clients, this is NOT a post about being able to reopen on the 15th. Most of you know I’ve had a preexisting injury the last 1.5 years that I ignored. I started having therapy yesterday as it is causing secondary inflammation and problems.... For now I need to honour myself and health and take away the attachment I have to my clients and give myself this time to heal. My hand is in a splint and I haven’t been given any timeframe on rehab process. My next check up is two weeks & she might say light duties or could be a month or longer I honestly don’t know. I understand how amazing lashes make you feel and this is extremely hard to send. I am not putting any expectations on myself just going to ride the wave. For now the lash lab is temporarily closed until further notice. Thank you for your loyalty, I love you all and will keep you updated Ash x x

14.01.2022 Are you cleansing your lashes?? . With it heating up on the beautiful Sunshine Coast . Our lashes need some extra TLC to ensure longer retention and to keep them fluffy and clean... ... . During the warmer weather, especially with humidity our body produces more natural oils/sweat which can build up on the lash line and break down the adhesive or clump our lashes together! . I’ll pop my fav home made lash recipe below and ensure you’re cleansing daily . I bought a little pump bottle to put it in 1 x tablespoons tear free baby shampoo 1 x teaspoon baking soda 12 x tablespoon distilled water . Will last you a long time, I find it best to wash at the end of my shower... . Happy cleansing beauties
