12.01.2022 First lawn renovation for the season. This zoysia lawn will look mint in a couple of weeks. 12 lawn catches of thatch removed from a small lawn no bigger than 40 sqm. Liquid and granular fertiliser applied as well as some wetting agent and finished off with washed sand.

03.01.2022 STEP 1 - Lawn scalped. 28 catcher loads of thatch removed. I’ll give it another quick mow tomorrow just for good measure. STEP 2 - Tomorrow I’ll be applying some liquid wetting agent for improved moisture retention, a mix of fast release high nitrogen and slow release balanced granulated fertiliser. STEP 3 - Apply a fine layer of washed plasterers sand followed by a good deep watering.
