I absolutely loved doing this painting of little Kobi in the patchy sunlight Having a clear reference photo to work from my job 10x easier, plus he had just had a haircut so was looking particularly handsome!

11.01.2022 Big thank you to Lennox Head Vet Clinic for looking after my scaley-baby today! My central bearded dragon Mushu had surgery to remove a strange growth on his back and is recovering well. The lovely staff were also happy to display my pet portrait flyers in their waiting room Sorry for the lack of posts lately - I was a little preoccupied today, but I'll have a new work-in-progress photo of my current commission to show you all tomorrow!

05.01.2022 Here's an update on Benny's big smile I'm finding myself spending almost as much time sharpening pencils as I am actually drawing for this one... lots of sharp pastel pencils are needed to create his gorgeous mottled fur.

01.01.2022 The horses have been framed! Framers and client did an excellent job! Framing not only protects an artwork, but makes the piece feel complete. I can offer framing for artworks that dont require shipping. Or, like in the case of the horses, I can ship the artwork directly to your framer of choice!
