19.01.2022 Brendan has been taking some pictures to show the great results after utilising the mulcher on the 272D. Our Customer was concerned about digging these trees out as there is multiple buried irrigation mains through this area. By using the mulcher, there is no disturbance to underground infrastructure but total destruction to the trees, regardless of size! Thanks Brendan
17.01.2022 This is blasting down a 150mm hole, 1m deep. Pretty quick tidy way of making post holes in your lawn. For burying turf lines, electrical cables across to the shed, whatever you can think of that saves shovelling. Call us to save yourself time and blisters!
17.01.2022 Some more pictures of another job completed! Top job Brendan, like your work bloke! Maybe the drain will work like it should now that there's nothing to hold the water back! If you have a problem with tail water flooding paddocks that it shouldn't, give us a call.
15.01.2022 A little bit of spaghetti we have also been working around lately! Soft sand doesn't allow for neat trenches, the deeper you dig the quicker it collapses. There is a number of services to work around here, it all takes time!
15.01.2022 Digging out and removing faulty poly irrigation mainline. It is now getting cut into pieces to be used as culvert pipes, at least all is not lost! This pipeline has been in the ground about 5 years, 14 odd repairs later, and then removal. It was overcooked when made and went really brittle, constantly cracking and splitting. Note - we only removed this line, not installed.
14.01.2022 Thanks to Brendan, one of our experienced operators, another job well done. Definitely an improvement on what it was before hand, a lot of rock to fill the 1.2m deep hole in front of the apron!!
12.01.2022 Brendan working on the mulcher again! Making wood chips! Any tree, anywhere, any size! Give me a call if you need to eradicate some trees. Layton 0427529866
11.01.2022 For people that don't know about the range of services we offer, here is just a little of what we've been doing lately. For all your pipe laying and repairs, drain cleaning, roads and shed pads, supply and cartage of material, site clean ups, tree mulching, vac trailer, float hire for machinery transport etc. Anything that can be done regarding civil works, we can do. For any enquiry please call Layton.
11.01.2022 We have now added a Vermeer Vac Trailer to our business. This machine has a 1000L waste tank, and 400L water tanks on board. It will add another dimension of self sufficiency to our existing business, we are now able to go to a job, locate services and begin excavation straightaway. This machine is fantastic for the domestic trades as well, for uncovering pipe leaks, sewer pipes, fence post holes etc. No mess on lawns or driveways, no screwed up lawn, like the skidsteer af...ter digging post holes and cleaning up. Irrigation outlets are a breeze to reinforce and stop leaking, when you can dig a neat 3inch footing around them, box and pour concrete. If you need/want to save yourself a lot of shovelling and time, give us a call!
10.01.2022 Cleaning out some pump inlets on the mighty Burdekin River. Bit of an awkward spot when it is wet and slippery, extended to full reach and balancing on rocks. Lots of logs and silt blocking the inlet from the outside, tomorrow they are sending divers into the well from the inside, to clean around pumps themselves. Would be like cage diving with the crocs, if you could see them!
08.01.2022 Brendan has been busy doing some rock work to mitigate erosion damage in some channels, we've got plenty to do yet in the next 2 weeks. We can supply, cart and place all types of rocks for erosion, materials for pad construction and repair or replace pipes.
04.01.2022 Here's a bit of a close up of the mulcher in action. These are fair size stumps for mangoes that are only 30 odd years old. Some of the stumps we've done, the diameter is larger than the rotor of the mulcher is long.
04.01.2022 A good little job we had recently, digging a dam and using the fill to build a shed/house pad. Being a private job, in a paddock, it was a fantastic opportunity to further educate my eldest daughter in truck driving. From backing down into the hole I was digging, reversing 300meters to the dump site because it wasn't big enough to turn the twin steer around on, and all the while stacking the loads tight together right on the edge of the pad. I did 2 loads with her first up and then she done the day on her own, although it wasn't her first time driving this truck. One of those proud Dad days, where you have a child that wants to work, up and about and ready to go before I was at 5am.
