21.01.2022 We had a 2 degree start here in Tassie- the cold has addled my brain -so its prompted me to extend my early bird discount for the Lazy Runner Point to Pinnacle running tour to the end of April- so that is only $300PP for two nights, three days, all transfers and most meals- now that is a running tour bargain- I've had a quick browse on the net and have found the LR tours are really the best value and I may be biased but I think the best fun as well... Here are a couple of tou...rs similar to LR tours Gone Running Tours- 2 nights accom in tassie, does not include meals- $595PP Travelling Fit Tours- GORM- 2 nights, no meals from $625PP So check ours out now https://lazyrunner.worldsecuresystems.com/running-tours See more

09.01.2022 This is a call out for all my SA Running Buddies. Want to help make a difference in running research and get a free pair of Ascis running shoes for your troub...le???- Jayme Miller is currently completing a research study as a part of my Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours at the UniSA. The study will be looking at the differences (perceptual, running economy and kinematic) between over-ground and treadmill running in adult recreational runners. This is a highly contentious subject, with a lot of conflicting evidence, but one which has various clinical / medical, research and professional sporting implications. If you particpate you will get a free pair of Ascis. Jana -you may know lots of people who are interested- I've shared it to your wall. See more

01.01.2022 Hi all my running buddies- I've had a bit of a cry for help from Ryan- he is looking to break a Guinness World Record (and raise money for his charity) at the Sunny Coast marathon and he needs two runners to make it valid- so please let me know if you can help or share this post to any of your buddies running the marathon...here is his story..if anyone wants to contact Ryan, just PM me and I can give you his phone number My name is Ryan Hansen and in 11 days time I will be co...mpeting in my first marathon taking place on the Sunshine Coast. As part of my marathon, I have somewhat ambitiously organized to run in my full Paramedic uniform in order to raise money for ‘QAS Legacy’, a Queensland Ambulance Service charity. Furthermore, I hope to complete the run in under 3:58:17 and in doing so break the current Guinness World Record for the ‘Fastest Marathon dressed as a Paramedic’ currently held by Karsten Koehler from Germany. I am writing to you today in a desperate plea for assistance. In order to verify the marathon attempt to satisfy the requirements of the Guinness officials, I require a minimum of 2 runners to join me on the marathon. Until recently I had both runners lined up although one has recently fallen ill and the other appears to have fallen off the face of the earth and not responding to my attempts to contact him. As a fall back plan I hoped to use a marathon pacer and secure the services of a fellow runner on the day, however I don’t like leaving things to chance and would like to secure a runner or two prior to the big day. In summary, I am enquiring as to whether you know of any runners in your club who can complete a marathon on very short notice in the time previously mentioned? I am happy to pay for the entry fees for up to 2 runners that would be willing to assist. If you can in anyway help I would be very appreciative. See more
