22.01.2022 Today our LCR Papua New Guinea team started an education and awareness campaign for the local communities surrounding our Port Moresby Depot . The PNG team distributed flyers in both Pidgin and Motu (local languages) with the aim to educate the local community about COVID-19. Over the next week, the LCR PNG team will continue to engage the other surrounding villages in the area. 21.01.2022 LCR Group currently sponsor the CQ Junior Capras, and during the week of 29 May and 02 June they were in Rockhampton for a training camp in preparation for the Junior Central Crows Carnival in Chinchilla. LCR was invited to attend the camp and Beau Di Maio and Damien McNeill took up the offer and went to see the juniors train, they were also there to present the Junior CQ Capras to the crowd on behalf of LCR during the televised Intrust Super Cup game featuring the Rockhampton Leagues Club Capras vs Townsville Blackhawks. 17.01.2022 We lifted the lid on our sewerage treatment today a 92-tonne steel lid! Our wastewater digester tank lid is due for refurbishment as part of upgrades to our b...iosolid facilities. It is the heaviest lift Council has completed since the lid was put in place in the early 1980s and required a 500-tonne crane to do the job. See more

12.01.2022 Last week, our LCR Group Renewable Energy team delivered the final component to the Coopers Gap Wind Farm. It was a proud moment for all involved in the project to see the final components roll in the gate. The LCR team constructed some new equipment to suit the project, worked with dedicated contractors and utilised the broad range of LCR capabilities to deliver project outcomes. FACTS ABOUT THE PROJECT ... Coopers Gap Wind Farm is currently the largest wind farm to be transported in Australia. Total transport kilometers travelled, including pilots, police, steerers, and trucks from the Port of Brisbane to the site was 3,630,510kms. At Peak to transport 4 blades in one night required 56 people, including Supervisor, Truck Drivers, Steers, Police, Pilots, Traffic Controllers, QLD Rail Officers and Roadtek Officials. At Peak Qld Police supplied 60 to 70 officer per week for escorts. Total Dual Lifts, combined between the Port and Site was 4,728. Total Permits required by external parties to transport the components was 1272. An exceptional team effort to support the delivery of an iconic project. #renewablepower #sustainable #energy #windpower

07.01.2022 During the recent bush fire crisis in NSW, the 330kV Transmission Line that relays the power from the Snowy Hydroelectric Project between Tumut to Upper Tumut was damaged and required urgent repair. LCR was contacted to assist in delivering a safe and effective lifting solution. LCR used the Liebherr LTR 1100 Hydraulic Boom Crawler Crane to perform the job safely and access this remote site in the Snowy Mountains, that was 1650m above sea level in terrain with severe gradient...s. This project was achieved through careful planning by the LCR Crane and Transport Team and our client.

01.01.2022 Yesterday our team delivered the first 5 metre diameter tower sections to Coopers Gap windfarm, after many months of planning & consultation with our client and government authorities our team finally managed to get the first section to site, with many challenges on route it was such a proud moment for all involved to achieve this milestone. Great effort to all involved to get to this point!
