14.01.2022 We would like to again thank our parent community for your support over the last six months in relation to following the COVID policies and procedures. It has been a challenging year for everyone and we are very pleased to announce that from the start of Term 4, restrictions at Lighthouse will begin to ease, seeing Prep to Year 3 parents permitted to return to site for the drop off times each morning. To ensure that any enduring COVID procedures are maintained, we would ask t...hat returning P-Y3 parents observe the following expectations: Please strictly adhere to social distancing measures remaining 1.5m away from all adults. For the present time, only staff and students are permitted to enter classrooms. Do not enter the school grounds if you are sick or feeling unwell, or have been interstate in the past fourteen days. Follow the health and safety signs around the grounds. Supervised morning drop off and escorting protocols will still be available in the mornings. We will continue to maintain Primary afternoon collection times at 2:40pm and Secondaries at 3:00pm employing the same strategies as we did in Term 3, with parents able to collect children at the drive through collection point at the front of the school.

Well done to Jayden and all the Year 8 Technology classes on the exceptional effort and hard work they put in this term.

The high school s...tudents had a chance to listen to him speak on the topic of Creation and Evolution using Bible evidence, facts and fossils. Everyone also had the chance to ask Mr Mackay questions about creation and things about his creation research and his amazing fossil finds. Mr Mackay runs the @jurassic ark creation located near Gympie which is the world’s only outdoor creation research museum and fossil dig site.
