The Liberal Democrats is the only political party in Australia that stands for the right of all law-abiding Australian citizens to be able to legally own the firearms of their choice, oppose the draconian 1996 National Firearms Agreement (and the pointless bans on s...emi-auto longarms and pump-action shotguns), and strongly supports seeing gel ball blasters remaining legal and are treated for what they really are - toys. It's no secret that the 1996 National Firearms Agreement and the constant, one-sided anti-firearm propaganda governments at the State, Territorial and Federal level, the police, the mainstream media, and the gun control movement have been pushing for close to 25 years has led to the current legislative attack on gel ball blasters (and for the government's refusal to make Airsoft guns and the sport of Airsoft legal in this country or for any rational debate in making semi-auto longarms and pump-action shotgtuns legal for average, licenced gun owners once again).
