Helen runs our Townsville office and is extremely passionate about the North Queensland Cowboys, especially when they beat the Broncos. Helen chose project management as her career as she loves being part of a team, constantly being challenged and dealing with issues that require problem solving and lateral thinking to resolve. What inspires Helen? "Nothing motivates me more than being told I cannot do something and being thrown in the deep end. I truly believe anything is achievable with hard work, determination and self-belief. You need to believe in yourself for others to believe in you."

21.01.2022 Meet 28-year-old Company Director and Project Manager Sam Fairless. In December 2012, Sam founded LEAD Consultants which lets him combine his passions for Design, Construction and the Built Form, allowing him to do something he enjoys every day. Outside of work youll find Sam either travelling, playing sports or getting outdoors. Sams best job-related experience? Before starting LEAD, I would have said completing a successful project that had been difficult, or travelling ...overseas and to remote locations in Australia, however since starting LEAD, I think most of my satisfaction comes from seeing the younger Project Managers develop and refine their skills. It is very rewarding mentoring a staff member and then seeing them put advice into action and have their own success. A dream project for Sam would have to be managing a large sporting stadium or a church/cathedral. Sam has a strong belief that Project Management is universal and while the term in predominantly used in construction, the processes and management practices we utilise can be adapted for all different situations.
