We are bombarded by continuous updates of people’s highlight reels, filtered and masked of what life is really like. Now I’m relating this one to parenthood but really it can relate to anything in life. So shift the perspective to suit. Unrealistic situations has created a insecurities to who we are as parents. ... At the end of the day how you parent is up to you, it has nothing to do with anyone else. And what may have worked for one person may not work for another. Sharing stories and experiences shouldn’t turn into a battle of who had it worse, or what someone did better. Sharing a story should create connection, compassion.
