21.01.2022 This is my Mum. I love her so much!! If it wasn't for her I would not be a professional musician!!! I remember her taking me to piano lessons from age 7yrs, putting gold stars on my chart when I practiced, wrestling with my will when I didn't want to practice (eek!) crying with me when I didn't win the International Pianoforte competition, reminding me why I started when I forgot the song in my heart, encouraging me when my joy was robbed by the thief of comparison and water...ing her beautiful garden with birds chirping while I played for her. I remember spending hours at my Grandpa's old piano brought out from England on a ship, hours writing music and songs, arranging music to conduct our church band and choir, hours learning hymns and teaching students and also teaching myself to play my Harp... I remember songs. I remember moments. I remember Hillsong up full volume!!! Most of all I remember everytime I wanted to quit, Mum was there saying, 'You can do it!' Remember to thank the special ones who gave something up to pay for all your music lessons! My mum cut hair so I could make music Thanks Mum I pray I will reach the world with my songs and a message of faith, hope and #LOVE
