23.01.2022 [2/3] I started sweating and was anxious to go. I excused myself to visit the bathroom and told Luke, ‘You need to stop. Let me find a way.’ I returned to the lounge and asked Sally if she had sensed anything or noticed any signs before Luke’s passing. She replied, ‘Funny you should say that. Three days before he died, there was a kookaburra who sat on the fence for three days.’ Sally then told me that she had gone to a psychic a few years ago who had predicted that her husba...nd would die. Somehow she felt that the kookaburra was a bad omen. Luke told me Sally had placed something in his coffinhe had watching over her as she did it. He told me what it was and I relayed the information to Sally, which made her cry and nod confirmation that this was true. I told Sally that she was more than welcome to come and see me and left it at that. But Luke would not stop hassling me. A couple of weeks later, he paid me a visit in the middle of the night and repeated ‘call Sally’ over and over. He wouldn’t let me sleep. I finally got up at 6 am and rang Christine. I explained what was happening and she suggested I ring Sally immediately and gave me her number. I called Sally and she was so happy to hear from me. I explained that Luke had wanted me to call her. A horrible feeling came over me, so I said, ‘I know this is a tough time for you but you will get through it.’ Sally confessed that she wasn’t coping with Luke’s passing. We talked for a long while and she felt calmer afterwards. Soon after, I went to a soccer game and I spotted a kookaburra sitting on the fence. It came flying at my head. I knew that was Luke’s way of telling me to see Sally. He had more to tell her. I found out that Sally had been asking Christine about me and didn’t know how to approach me. John, who was also at the soccer game, said he was going to ring Sally and arrange for her to see me. So I went to her house and told her everything Luke was telling me. 21.01.2022 [1/3] One significant encounter, many years ago, set me on the course of using my ability to help people heal. This is a long story, but I thought you might like to read it: One night as I went to bed, I could sense a spirit trying to talk to me. This happens often, so I ignored the voice. He returned again the next night and the next and I continued ignoring him. I went on ignoring the voice for a week but he was persistent, so finally I asked him; ‘What do you want?’ He sai...d he wanted me to go and find his wife and talk to her. He had a real urgency about it. A huge sense of grief and loss came over me and he said, ‘You’ve got to make it happen.’ I didn’t want to, partly because I didn’t know him or his wife, but mostly because I wasn’t ready at the time to expose my ability to the wider public. He then showed me images of the suburb he had lived in. I recognised it because it was near my home. Then I suddenly recalled reading a funeral notice in the school newsletter. A student had lost their father in a motor vehicle accident. I didn’t know the man’s wife but I knew this was the person I was meant to contact. Her name was Sally and she was a mother of two girls who attended the same school as my sons. Her husband, Luke, has been 32 when he died in a tragic accident. But I didn’t know how to reach out to her. I didn’t know her personally and I didn’t feel like I could just call her and say, ‘Your husband wants me to talk to you’. It was so soon after his passing. But Luke was determined and he showed me the way. A few days later my brother’s usual soccer committee meeting had to be moved from the community hall to his house. I was there visiting and said hello to everyone, including John, a friend of my brother’s. John’s niece was there and John asked my brother’s wife, Christine, if she could drive her home. Christine invited me along for the drive. All of a sudden, I found myself at Luke’s house! I saw a photo of him and was speechless. I couldn’t believe that these events had brought me here. It turned out that John was Sally’s brother. Luke poked me, saying ‘Talk to her! 14.01.2022 [3/3] He also told her that a ‘friend’ who offered to help may not be genuine. He told her she had to fight for their children and what he wanted for their future. Giving this information to Sally gave her hope. She could see a way of moving forward, knowing that Luke was watching over them. He stayed close for about a year and then he pulled back, knowing it was time for them all to move on. Sally and I became friends and she’s part of my life now. Luke made that happen. Thi...s experience with Luke also helped me realise I needed to take my gift further, to communicate with spirits to help others through their pain and grief.
