25.01.2022 I haven't posted for a while! Depending on how you look at it, that could be a bad thing or a good thing. I have been very busy actually working with people, moving offices and creating real change. Which means not so much time for social media!! The reality is people post on social media constantly to get likes, to get followers, to get business or clients. And that is wonderful, but not how I do things. I work on building relationships with people I know. With actually talk...ing to real people who I know are engaged. It doesn't mean I don't care about social media, but I do believe that as a coach who loves real people I would much rather spend less time on social media and more time being real!! I highly encourage most people to get off social media. To maybe even delete it off their phones for a while so they can have a social media detox (I know what a concept right!!). That is what I do. And it feels great. And I do not miss anything important because I have phone numbers of important people and I actually TALK to people!!! If you have been spending to much time on social media and not enough time looking into people's eyes, touching them, listening to their voice, you may have noticed a great sense of loneliness, anxiety or even depression. Human beings NEED real contact. Try it, you will like it.

24.01.2022 If we can come to see that all people, including ourselves, are to some extent emotionally unwell as well as frequently wrong, we can better approach them with true tolerance and real love. - WILLIAM WILSON et al. (para.) Judge not; the workings of their brain... And of their heart you cannot see; What looks to your dim eyes a stain, In a pure light may only be A scar, brought from some well-won field, Where you would only faint and yield. - ADELAIDE A. PROCTER (para.) If you're a stranger to your own wounds, then you're going to be tempted to despise the wounded. - GREGORY BOYLE When you behold an aspect for whose constant gloom and frown you cannot account, whose unvarying cloud exasperates you by its apparent causelessness, be sure that there is a wound somewhere, and a wound not the less deeply corroding because concealed. - CHARLOTTE BRONTE (para.) We stand with the belligerent, the surly, and the badly behaved until bad behavior is recognized for the language it is: the vocabulary of the deeply wounded and of those whose burdens are more than they can bear. - GREGORY BOYLE While we are coldly discussing a person’s career, sneering at their mistakes, blaming their rashness, and labelling their opinions--"Evangelical and narrow," or "arrogant and self-righteous" - that person, in their solitude, is perhaps shedding hot tears because their sacrifice is a hard one, because strength and patience are failing them to speak the difficult words, and do the difficult deed. - GEORGE ELIOT (para.) We must seek a compassion that allows us to stand in awe at the burdens people carry, rather than in judgement at how they carry them. - GREGORY BOYLE

23.01.2022 This is great, maybe we should have these pouches in the workplace and at home too! It is not just kids that are addicted, but their parents and other adults too!

22.01.2022 Women's Health Week 2020 This week is all about empowering and educating women about their health and wellbeing - today's focus is on "The Heads Up". According... to Beyond Blue, women experience higher rates of some mental illnesses than men; anxiety will affect 1 in 3 women in their lifetime, and depression will affect 1 in 6. In terms of eating disorders and PTSD, this tends to be more prevalent in women than men. It is a well known fact, and a thoroughly researched area, that vitamin and mineral deficiencies can lead to/exacerbate mental illness (for example, low iron can be a leading cause/contributor of depression). The same can be said for food intolerances and allergies; a whopping 97% of respondants in an independant laboratory analysis conveyed they noticed how the food/s they were sensitive to made the symptoms of their mood disorders worse. There are a few general rules for helping to minimise the negative impact of food on mental health: - Limit alcohol and caffeine intake. - Limit refined sugar and processed foods intake. - Drink plenty of water gradually throughout the day. - Eat a well-balanced diet of naturally occuring foods (eg. fruits, vegetables, proteins, healthy fats), thereby limiting packaged foods. - Get tested for food intolerances and food allergies from your qualified Nutritionist/Dietitian. There are certain foods that are neurotoxins, and they will almost always influence the brain-gut connection. 20.01.2022 Wouldnt it be nice if everyone knew how to accept their feelings and deal with them rather than be told we have to be happy all the time?

19.01.2022 Toxic and abusive relationships unfortunately are a common thing. I believe it has always been the case, but we are simply more aware now of what that means. Through personal work we can free ourselves from toxic relationships. Believe it or not we can change the dynamic of a relationship by changing our own behaviour too.

17.01.2022 Imagine if we just followed our hearts...

12.01.2022 Violence is violence. No matter what. Emotional well-being is the same, trauma response is the same, physical well being is the same. Just because a man has bigger muscles doesnt mean he has to put up with violence #mensmentalhealth #SayNoToViolence #afterthedivorce

11.01.2022 Last week I did a 3 day water fast, that is I had nothing to eat for three days, only water! It was super challenging, it brought up all kinds of emotions, I thought I wouldn't make it. But I did. And I have learnt more about myself, my own food issues that have kept my energy low and how determined I can be when I set my mind to it!! Pushing our comfort zone is the only way we can grow. Are you feeling stuck, or stagnant in your life? Do you need to find a new perspective, ...perhaps you need to like yourself again, or maybe even for the first time? If you want to be supported firmly, but gently, to be challenged, even if it is just a little bit, lets do it together! Through a structured 10 session package you will be amazed at what you can achieve when you decide to!

10.01.2022 To all the dads out there, if you see your kids or don't...to all those who have a dad...here or gone....we acknowledge that Fathers Day is not always a happy day. It can be a reminder of a parent lost, a child not in your life. Today we hope that everyone can remind themselves of beautiful memories of fatherhood, of what it means to be dad, or have a dad, to cuddle dad if you can, to let them know they are loved. Remind yourself of lessons learnt from dad, and lessons still ...to come! Happy fathers day

08.01.2022 And when we see that we are out of alignment it is up to us to work on that and create change and growth!

06.01.2022 Its been a while since I posted anything. Honestly Im a bit over FB but on occassion it is good to see what my friends are up to. And I want to share this today. Today I reward myself for all the work I do by picking up my new car. And some may think "she's so lucky she has everything". And in some respects I do. I have 2 healthy children, an amazing husband, a beautiful home, my own business. But none of that is due to luck. I have worked super hard to get here. My mind is a...lways busy with work. I have been close to complete burn out several times. Some say I care too much. Even though I know worry is a waste of energy and literally makes me sick I do it anyway. I worry something bad will happen to Grant or Matt or Jade. I worry if Im a good parent. I worry if Im doing the right thing by my clients. So this new car is proof to me that I am worth it. That all the effort I put in to helping others is worth it. That the tears and stress has led me to personal growth that has enabled this. That my vision board works... if it wasnt for my vision board I would not have made the effort to get this car! Funny thing is I always thought I would get the RC300...but there was only one blue car left in Aust and it was an RC350. They gave it to me at a great price, and when i got home I glanced at my vision board and realised it had always been the RC350!! #dreamscometrue #visionboardswork #coaching

04.01.2022 Yesterday 8 beautiful ladies spent the day working on themselves. What does this mean exactly? No Kids No Partners No Housework No Work... No Friends JUST THEM looking at what they want for themselves! In a time when saying no can bring on guilt, when being quiet can be labelled as lazy, and where everyone wants a piece of you, this is just what we need! The first half of the day we look at values, connect back to who we are and start to figure out what we want. And then we put it all together! Next one is March 23. Strictly 10 places only, for MEN and women, and anyone over 15. See events for more details, or call 0473 177 744 to reserve your spot.

03.01.2022 It's fantastic to see 40 new homes and extra support for female victims of domestic violence. Sad to see there is still nothing for me, or male children. Do you know that if you are abused and you have a 14 year old son he cannot go with you to a shelter? This often means the family stay in the abusive home as the mother will not leave her child there. #menareabusedtoo #domesticviolence #mensmentalhealth
