24.01.2022 Trying to fit a few extra things in this year besides just the overwhelming kinder stuff <3 I swear for every thriving kinder photography business that closes each year due to exhaustion and burnout ( I see you, comrades! ), another 10 childcare centres open in their place. I'm just starting to rev up for the new kinder year atm, but if you are an experienced working photographer with skillz and would like to supplement your own earnings, i'll be doing a call-out for that soo...n too :) But in the meantime, Grade Sixers, represent! Possibly your first portrait since kindy, it's a fine time to update - limited spaces available throughout 2020 :)

24.01.2022 Hello Children, Parents and Educators! . I hope you are all well! Little Big Adventures ( the kinder and childcare and biggest branch of Leanne Bertram Photography ) has gone a little bit quiet in recent times - to be honest, part horror, part unknown, part fear, but mostly part overwhelmed. . I also didnt want to add to the din of recent weeks - open/closed/open/closed, my inbox overflowing with messages of how every person and business on earth is distancing/ managing, it w...as far too much. I wanted to wait for a little quiet, a little breath, a little calm. . So instead I took stock, burrowed under and waited. I had a feeling things would change a few times over and that they did. . I'll do a proper update in the morning, and i'll be emailling all my Term 2 bookings to tentatively re-book for later in the year, but most of all, I just want you all to take stock, breathe, hope and feel best in tricky times. . If you need help with a 2019 photoshoot or order, please feel free to contact us, but we are not actively photographing at this time as per governmental and health guidelines x Xx Leanne

15.01.2022 Friends, firstly thankyou for another great year! <3 To be honest, I havent been sharing a lot on this page because there's only one of me and i've had more work than I can handle, more enquiries than hours and I havent wanted to attract any more work ( how bizarre is that!? ) I already work long hours 6 days a week, leaving only one day a week open for families and it's been slaying me. With every family I spend time with on a weekend, i'm only reminded how little I actual...ly spend with my own. And it's been making me sad. After nearly a decade at this pace, i'm truly beat. So i'm making changes in 2018. This page will be updated even less, if that is indeed possible. We're still doing family sessions over at Little Big Adventures but where I used to wear the cost of my time, I can no longer afford to do that as I have to pay others for their time, and typically me, I value others, and especially my hard-working staff, more than I do myself. ( Funny how we'd never ask others do to the sort of work we suck up ourselves as small business owners :) ) So right now, we're taking time, taking stock, and prepping all the prints, framing, packing and deliveries to round out the year. And then, essentially, we're taking a year off, indefinitely. xx Leanne

15.01.2022 Such a pleasure to contribute to this gorgeous new website for this wonderful local kindergarten. The children here are so very lucky to be granted the freedom to climb and navigate and forge such wonderful connections with each other and their educators. Also, a sucker for a garden, I may or may not have received some wonderful landscaping and gardening tips while I was there.. because besides cats, and photographing kids, gardens are my thing. If you show me a picture of a ...kid with a cat, in a garden? Well, that's it, i'm done Beautiful work @ladyforsterkindergarten <3 Little Big Adventures

15.01.2022 Just Another Update from when I Shut Shop in 2017. Yes, I am still closed to new bookings. I'm refreshing this post again as im still getting lots of enquiries and requests for bookings and I simply cannot.... I'm still working 100%, 7 days, all hours for the rest of the year with Little Big Adventures, so I havent got the time for family sessions or commercial work at all ( I barely have time for a sandwich! ) My one day off a week is for MY family, who I see precious little of, and even then it's to run them around to sporting activities between chores :) The trouble is, as anyone who knows me knows, I have a big problem with saying no to people and suffer massive guilt when I do, or when I feel I am made to say yes to things I should not. This is turn impacts negatively on my psyche and energy levels as I try to find ways to either - (a) find the energy/time, or (b) tell you I know I said yes, but I truly, truly can not. I'm still happy to pass on referrals and work to those I trust, to those that work with me and I am grateful to colleagues that have lessened my load by fulfilling pre-booked family sessions for me. It's like the world off my shoulders. Anyway, just a little update to say, my load hasnt lessened, I havent micaculously cloned myself, or time. This may change one day, so my site is still up as is this page, but for now, if you're not a kinder kid, you can't be in my camera x Thankyou for your understanding :) - Leanne

06.01.2022 All bookings for April have now been cancelled and refunded. Thanks so much for your interest and support .. hopefully we will still get to do some more sessions in 2020. We are grateful we at least started our little project this year - it was a delight to start and perhaps finish the year with such lovely families and faces x
