19.01.2022 On Saturday, Jimi and I were privileged to have a private tour with John Stewart of the new @Living School in Lismore. I am so grateful that our community has such an amazing teacher with endless passion and energy to change our education system for the better. Each step we took in the school gave us deeper insight in John's fantastic philosophy about education. The school, like his mind, pushes every limit in a fabulous and creative way, allowing children's potential to be fully explored and respected. Thank you John for what you are doing for future generations.

13.01.2022 Over the years, I have often been asked to write for child care magazines or even a book about my approach towards child care. I always thought "No thank you, my English is way too limited for that." As usual, my awesome husband is showing his full support and we are really pleased to announce that one of our next projects is to write for a few magazines and one of them is the brand new E.Y.E Magazine by Big Hearted Education. 02.01.2022 Sylvester has been busy in the kitchen with me again! Today’s menu: lasagne! I actually got 50 minutes of footage so I’ve crammed it down to just 1 minute so I ...could upload it. Sylvester is using a variety of kitchen utensils: his knives are from KUHN RIKON UK (we HIGHLY recommend the dog knife set: https://amzn.to/2V8zKXq), his very own personalised wooden baking set from us, Benedykt and Sylvester, and a small collection of children’s plastic/metal utensils from IKEA. Sylvester has always loved working with me in the kitchen; he follows direction superbly and has a lovely time. Benedykt was out with Tata while we were working, but those of you with a fast eye might catch Sylvester’s wave to them through the window as they arrive home towards the end . Oh! Sylvester is 25 months old and he’s standing on a normal kitchen chair! 01.01.2022 We did it again! Le Cocon took home Family Day Care Australia's regional Educator of the Year Award for the second year running! Huge thanks to all the families who nominated us and all the children who bring smiles and laughter into our days. This award is such a beautiful conclusion to six amazing years of Le Cocon. In December, Le Cocon is set to move away from the family day care model to launch an exciting new range of services for parents and children. Watch this space for further details!
